A chinese jv would be nice
Yes, doesn't look good. The sp just keeps falling. I thought I was the only long-termer left to be honest Jib. The bb has been like a ghost ship of late. I think we'll be in very serious trouble with the next placing, unless Bird can do something radical to shift the sp upwards.
31,415,903 for 4.5K must have hurt
It looks like people may have been 'cold called' and urged to invest. No proof of that, but it was all extremely fishy, as the bulk buying at those prices commenced immediately following the placing at 0.015p. Whichever way, it also looked as if certain investors, those buyers, were in the know about something additional that we mere mortals had no knowledge of. No substantial news has since emerged either. News that would have warranted such volume in buying at 0.0249p, after what was a dire placing price. I'm hoping the FCA is bothering to make enquiries. Those folks are over 40% down now. Cheers Wress.
Thanks eric. I bought in on the amount of buying of the 249er. That needs explaining imo as it deceived me.
Sorry to hear that. Weren't you also invested here before that as well? The bb is deathly quiet. It says much. I may have said this before, but best of luck with your investments elsewhere. Be careful. Lol. Cheers Wress.
The 0.0249er screwed me as it got me invested and cost me 3k. Sold out of this cow pat now. Rubbish
I think many of us can identify with that. Just one winner before I expire would be nice. Ha ha. Best of luck.
Trouble is, there are so many shares like this on AIM, and unfortunately I seem to have most of them in my portfolio! I really must have a clear out but unfortunately that will mean having to take a huge hit.
Thank your lucky stars that you aren't still involved here then and staring at this current sp. Best wishes with your investments elsewhere.
many, many years ago. When I wrote about this I was hounded off the forum so fast. But I think it has been proven correct. It must be about 5 years ago now since this reached 1p when they were waiting on gold samples at the Deli Jovan mines (sorry if I have spelt that wrong). 5 years on and what is happening? They haven't drilled anything, they haven't mined anything, they are still years away from doing it. It seems to me all that is happening here is issuing shares in order to keep paying themselves a wage for doing nothing. I wonder if I will get hounded off the forum again for these comments now? Sadly a lot of people lost a lot of money here simply because of these messageboards. None of us would have have stumbled across this awful share had it not been for the hype and ramping of this share some years back. We learn from mistakes!
Sorry you lost out with this, but sometimes it's better to cut and run. I'll be doing so after Christmas, because we simply have too many shares in issue to have any meaningful upward effect on my investment average. Bunch of muppets. In my opinion.
Hi Eric - I sadly concur - it makes me so angry the way the shareholders have been treated by the BoD, and especially C Bird on £120k per annum (now reduced) though the rest have been totally useless. I can't see a way forward right now. You cannot dilute forever without adding value. Fuming ex holder. GLA
Good post. Unfortunately. Lol. I think we need to uncover nothing short of exceptional grades at Mutsk for the remainder of the project, as we prove it up. Can't say about Silverton as it still doesn't feel like our project to me, and I must admit that it has left me largely disinterested. Only because of the management of our Company and the behaviour of Bird insofar as him actually securing that 'handy' project. All too easy, requiring no real effort, particularly when considering the wages he is receiving, As you say, looks like it's all a bit late in the day, certainly for existing shareholders. We are awash with too many shares, with what looks like more to come, barring a JV who would be willing to finance us in return for a percentage of future profits. Hence no further dilution. Unlikely, in my view Best wishes.
It's difficult to be positive, isn't it? Yet another dilution is on the cards. The sad thing is, we could have a couple of decent mines here, but the billions of shares that are available just waters everything down to a 'doesn't make much difference' scenario. I haven't done the maths, but what sort of news do we need to get the price up to, let's say, a very optimistic 0.5p? Two tier 1 discoveries being proved up? Whatever, it is all too little too late, and the BOD should be ashamed of themselves, This company has been chronically mismanaged over the years, and I suspect nothing will change in the future.
Gold doing well yet we are really suffering. Doesn't seem either right or fair. Those 0.0249p buyers must feel as if they've been grossly mistreated, which they have. Duped. Hoping the FCA is still monitoring the goings on here, particularly after those buys and the 0.015p placing price. Unfortunately it looks like we'll be needing more cash in the next few months, so good results from all step-out drilling or from Silverton are really needed now to get our sp up. A placing price lower than the last will be another nail in the coffin. Best wishes all. Let's see what happens.
Industrial flaming nipple clamps. Howl.
Aye, being in this share is like donning clingfilm body wrap and forgetting to leave room for your widgie.
Oh goody........at least the sp's gonna jump up 100fold in the near future.......consolidationsrus...... Then sp promptly halved again by a mega dilution.......!!!!! NURSE.......industrial flaming nipple clamps please........ :-))
Well, we thought it could happen. The only question now is how soon will Bird dilute us again? Stayed up to watch the US elections. Only in America could something like that happen. I bet Putin is wetting himself in hysterics as he oils himself up with fresh nipple wax. On we go. Gold doing well yet remarkably we aren't, in spite of all the buying today. I'm doing cartwheels in my own 5h.ite.
Duly passed what a f...ed up share & what a f...ed up world IMO ....
Could be Jib. I meant "Company" not "Conpany". Cough cough. Desperate times for the BOD. I expect the gravy train to keep rolling though. We know the three drill efforts will be the last until next year, so if Birdy is at all bothered he'll be taking the time between to chase a JV. Have to see.
Orogen has just completed earning an 80% interest in the property and can increase that holding if its' local partners elect not to contribute towards future work programmes. Sounds like they are not interested and the current drilling is a quick effort to get them to make a decision.
Yes, I fully expect the vote to be a 'yes' overall, from those unseen shareholders. Lol. The poor folks who bought in at 0.0249p too, they won't want to give up on their investment so early, and will probably vote for the proposals. Rock and a hard place. Such a shame, the management of the Conpany, but I can't see things changing markedly enough to save our investments from further peril. There will be more dilution and still no JV. Slowey should have resigned, but such people as these have no duty to others, to shareholders, only to themselves. Shame.
Can't argue that matey.....unfortunately I think we'll lose the vote but hopefully there'll be enough of us likeminded to send a real message to this shower. I'll give CB some credit for actually getting things moving but the preparation, method & cost have been atrocious in my view..... Slowey should be gone as far as I'm concerned if I'd been so ineffective I'd have resigned - but then that's me I guess.
