You so very quickly revert to nonsense. Or a sharper man than myself might consider the cat has got her claws out ?
The subject was centred on your opinion that SFO had effectively signed off ABH with ‘no evidence of fraud’.
I highlighted Tony T’s shallow depth of understanding and his likely shallow request of the SFO.
The two issues are related.
Not sure how he gets out of this with all the false updates and emails from cloudtag/ ABH stating apparently( at not proven at this time ) untruths. I’ve several including how he changed jurisdiction in the caymans. And more besides.there’s a massive paper chase with other pi s. He’s not that clever enough to cover all his tracks legally. So what exactly is his plan?
If the SFO is a crack team just waiting to jump on anything at a moments notice (and take on the FCAs casework out of the goodness of their hearts) and give a verdict in under three weeks it has miraculously escaped the malaise that has affected every other state controlled organisation over the past twenty years plus.
Talking of the FCA, the hopeless Andrew Bailey, now governor of Bank of England, who no sane person would rely on to tell the weather if he was looking out the window, was previously head there. Metaphorically and literally asleep at the wheel if you care to Google.
Dougie…
Play the ball (subject) not the player …
Frustratingly it’s easy to become sidelined… we’re all at times guilty
Subject is Amit & Cloudtag
Given that Trombone implies that he is the only sincere investor on this bb and that the rest of us who enquired of the SFO are nothing more than keyboard warriors, then it doesn’t take too much reasoning to work out the depth of detail that he likely supplied to the SFO. “Dear chaps, there are some keyboard warriors suggesting that Amit Ben Haim is a smoke & mirrors sky-fairy. Could you look into. T xxx “
How long to sort out anomalies ? Good question.
Dougie, I appreciate the time it’s perhaps taken for you to select c&p the below…
Then one perhaps needs to be tuned into confirmation bias, respectively
I’m more interested in the reply you received from the SFO… my understanding is - that their reply to some, was complainants to fill in an online concern with Action Fraud which would achieve a query/investigation… though, that they would need at least 50 similar causes for concern?
Given the tsunami of complainants - then I’d presume that what Trombone has said earlier… no evidence of fraud or wrongdoing?
Given that Amit was regulated and still is registered with the FCA, would indeed be of particular interest to any investigation officer.
How long does it take to sort out anomalies ?
I'm more inclined to believe that the SFO with their dedicated, professional investigators, are well able to see beyond a few amateur smoke and mirrors tactics when a very large sum of money is involved in a possible fraud., than a few keyboard warriors on this bb. After all, you wouldn't want your gardener sorting out your toothache
I’d disagree. It lends itself yet further to the ongoing deceit which could be summarised by a slight change in the syntax on all of ABH’s notices, to then simply read as “the cheque is in the post” :
1st June 2023 ABH: ‘we expect the fund distribution process to be fulfilled within 4 weeks..’ correlates to ‘the cheques get posted in 4 weeks’.
2nd Nov 2023 ABH: ‘we will commence the distribution process 13 November… Payment will be made to nominated shareholder bank accounts and investment platforms 4 to 5 weeks after the process commences.’ which correlates to ‘the cheques will get sent 1 week before Christmas’
21st Nov 2023 ABH: ‘pleased to confirm the distribution began its proceedings on time & will take around 5 weeks to complete’ which correlates to ‘cheques will arrive 1 week before Christmas’
21st Dec 2023 ABH: ‘in a position to transfer funds week ending 19 January 2024’ correlates as ‘cheques will be in the post, January’
19th Jan 2024 ABH: ‘affirm to establish contact with shareholders by 31st January 2024’ correlates as ‘cheques might be in the post February’
4th March 2024 ABH: ‘in a position to distribute licensing funds and conclude the process during the next 7 days’ correlates as ‘cheques will be sent next week’
8th March 2024 ABH: ‘to reiterate that the process shall conclude within the original time frame’ correlates as ‘cheques will be in the post in 3 days’
10th April 2024 ABH: ‘the agent has the funds’ correlates as ‘cheques may soon be in the post’
It can then be guaranteed 100% that the next notice will again have a variant of “the cheque is in the post”.
“Progression then sees concern being raised with the failure of CTAG to pay its debts ie. the non-payment of owed dividend / income payments. Which again appears to be centred on the tort of deceit ; fraud.”
17th April update on the Cloudtag website doesn’t lend itself to deceit… just saying
Similar result to Trombone.
Progression then sees concern being raised with the failure of CTAG to pay its debts ie. the non-payment of owed dividend / income payments. Which again appears to be centred on the tort of deceit ; fraud.
Dougie, many contacted the SFO for verification that Cloudtag is what it says on the lid
Trombone hasn’t heard anything back in respect - have you?
That is wrong, that the shareholders continue to believe. Hence why the regulatory bodies have been contacted from multiple sources with concerns of fraud.
Really not sure what he is playing at but there is a very strong suspicion of deceit being employed.
Anything that can show proof of substance in anything that Amit Ben Haim has posted, is then worth exploring.
I emailed the SFO on April 3rd, that's exactly 20 days ago and I have heard nothing back from them. Rest assured,a $280m fraud would be of great interest to them so the fact that I've heard nothing presumably means that they have no evidence of fraud or wrongdoing
“Fraud also encompasses scientific achievements.”
One only needs to google Elizabeth Holmes … self made billionaire. I recognise the types of fraud
There was allegedly a tsunami of pi’s who’ve reported Amit to the SFO this was at least a month ago … he reads social media, also this bb. Yet he continues to lead shareholders to believe what’s stated on the website
Fraud also encompasses scientific achievements.
Where the fraud is a deception for the aim of enhancing prestige.
And so incurs a degree of mental frailty,
“Fraud” is then one if several possibilities and so can not be ignored.
So then, given detailed accountability via website updates, in particular recently, then one would ask why does Amit feel it’s necessary if his intentions were to defraud? It doesn’t make logical sense to me. This I what I really struggle with… and trying passing it off as a mental health problem simply doesn’t wash
Very good post there Soyo, don’t agree with you on most things but certainly with you on that one👍
The most recent anomaly is perhaps the lack of any development between agent and brokers :
The book is closed so we know exactly how many shares are in circulation and exactly how much each share earns as a dividend/ income (debt owed).
There is then a trust fund already set up to hold the dividend/ income owed to the unknown shareholders.
Amit Ben Haim yet again induces delays. His weak link is that the dividend/ income is officially ‘debt owed’ ie he is now liable to pay. There is nothing stopping the agent forwarding those debt payments to the known shareholders.
“Fraud” is then one if several possibilities and so can not be ignored.
I'm pretty sure the reply he received was confirming the last correspondence they had from cloudtag not the paying agent.
Hoping Amit is acting as the paying agent is just wishful thinking, no one is getting paid a penny here as Angus said
B3ast
I read it as a reply which Platypus received from HL? Though it is confusing.
Perhaps I’m the only one who doesn’t actually care whether Amit is the paying agent, or whether he’s contracted a team… question is how long does it take to unravel anomalies ?
"Shouting this is all a… (and I quote) ‘fraud’… isn’t helpful"
I don't think anything said here will make a blind bit of difference. He keeps promising to pay, but he keeps breaking his promises. The very fact we're 18 months further on and NOTHING has been paid out says it all. He can't keep that going forever, and one senses by the tone of those recent comms, he has run out of excuses regarding updates, and one would assume people know that. If he actually paid anyone as promised, perhaps that would resolve it!!!
Laughing at Amit's use of the phrase short pause.
Why Amit still commands the time or respect of anyone is unbelievable.
Anyone remember this,
Commercial and Shareholding Update
22nd September 2022
Further to recent updates, the Company is pleased to confirm that its licensing deal and separate sale deal for the DaaP are both in place.
There will now be a short pause whilst certain arrangements are finalised. This will include a further update confirming the agreed sale price for both transactions and the number of shares in issue.
We endeavour to update as soon as we can and look forward to a beneficial conclusion for all shareholders in the near future.
I'd thought I would post it again to remind us what we're all here for. I can't imagine for one minute anyone would have thought we would have all still been here 18 months later and actually no further forward from this original post!
"The paying agent allegedly has made contact with HL… is this not a third party verification that the paying agent exists?"
I don't believe HL has ever confirmed this? The contact they had was directly from Cloudtag (aka Amit sending an emailing and signing it off as cloudtag action agent).
How long should it take to build a company to the value of $c275m… ?
I don’t know the actual total accumulated investment from pi’s (I can only guess, what 15-20million? (happy to stand corrected). I heard Amit invested c2million of his own funds, he’s a majority shareholder, if info on the website can be relied upon.
Apart from the SaaS licensing deal, also the DaaP pending sale… I don’t actually know what research & development the company has undertaken, other than what’s been stated via the website…
The paying agent allegedly has made contact with HL… is this not a third party verification that the paying agent exists?
Shouting this is all a… (and I quote) ‘fraud’… isn’t helpful
