Sound met with the NEW head of the tax authority and have instructed NEW lawyers to present Sound's case in a more structured way. (not my words). Sound remain confident of a good outcome.
I would guess it was because they were quite open about the tax situation and probably want to share a little information with us, whilst retaining a little secrecy.
But who knows.
They were quite confident about the tax issue. But acknowledge it still may go against them.
Any reason why? , as not all of us who work, can listen
Come me on sound , make it available, thanks
Apparently not going to be released.
Was just about to ask the same??
Does anyone know we can access the Sound Q&A session that was held on Zoom today? It must surely have been recorded.
You get a tick up from me Crude its just for your tenacity ;-))
How about being bu55ered by the rough end of an unripe pineapple would be more popular
Sundance, two things: First point being - I would like to acknowledge that many here would prefer red hot pokers in their eyes than return to the old 'JP' days! I think you said something about eating red hot coals would be more palatable, lol!
Second point is I totally agree with what you said in your Monday 20:26 post...nobody does this sort of thing (State Funeral) better than GB - but more than that is the love felt all around the Globe! Contrast that with Putin's latest statement & you would be comparing a peace-loving democrat who is respected the world over with a reviled autocrat who is mostly feared & certainly not loved, across the world!
BTW, back in my day investors reported on Company broadcasts & events...so has anyone got anything to say regarding today's 'podcast'-like event - or did it not happen?
Cheers to all long suffering chancers & would be investors...Crude
whilst the price remains low I am adding, but only around £500-£1000 a month depending on free cash.
I consider what I've spent to date as cash spent so although I expect a decent return it won't hurt me if it all went t!ts up.
regular small purchases do add up though.
my view is if you remove the tax issues and there are no significant downsides here. I believe the tax issues will go away sooner rather than later, hence my buying. The Q&A gave enough hints for me.
I am NOT encouraging anyone else to buy, that's down to people's own risk appetite.
Still topping up, KTF?
we'll get over this little speedbump sooner rather than later.
Could be the first time we’ve had an investor presentation and seen the price rise…….(head in hands).
very reassuring.
I like the bit 'we have information we can't share yet that would give shareholders more comfort'
I think it is being recorded. The tax responses are quite reassuring.
I didn't realise the Q&A was being conducted via zoom. I was hoping to read a transcript later on. Is anybody taking notes?
Thanks -
yes
Is the Q&A at 12:30 today?
dead cat bounce
Aye, aye, Someone is buying. Good news coming or bargain basement sp ?
Sundance just been searching on the web and you might be correct. Itv estimate 4.1 billion watched. I am amazed by that number.
Sundance i have not seen those figures and would be amazed if 63% of people were tuned in around the world. In the UK if you did not have Sky you had no choice. All BBC and ITV channels broadcast it and quite a lot of Sky channels. No doubt there will be repeats today.
Whilst i did watch and agree that it was a marvellous spectacle i thought the blanket coverage was over the top and took away peoples choice. Before you say anything i support the monarchy.
Anyway i see that there are still posters claiming the Moroccan tax authorities are backward third world numpties. You would think they would have more sense. When someone has your testicles in thei hand its a good idea not to tempt them to squeeze.
Well I am guessing that GL has factored in the tax issue. Would have been a massive case of head in the sand if not. Still perplexed by his closing words on that Rns. Didn’t seem the level headed Graham we normally see imo
As Yazz sang once " the only way is up"; lets hope so.
Maybe the Q A will shed some light on the Tax liability or not.
No point in selling so in till the end . Death by a thousand cuts at the mo.
