What’s another 6-7 years. Might need to amend my will….
Lot of anger in the posts lately. Chill people chill. The tax issue will be challenged and i think successfully but even if not successful i think a payment plan will be agreed. No sign of the gas crises easing in the foreseeable future so as long as Sounds plans stay on course shareholders will get their rewards in six or seven years' time. Ten at the most. Have a good weekend all.
Lol bla bla
Spilled more on your boots
32 years in the oil and gas industry 48 years at sea 15 of which were submerged with the military in some marine scary environment so I highly doubt it
ball$ack!! yes the last time I looked
I wish my keyboard was as big as yours though
Yawn
lol oil you may have just been airing your frustrations but it is not exactly a one off is it ? as every time I see you have posted I have always been minded to ask you to change your name to Mr Angry ! Probably is of no help to the bb ranting but more importantly your blood pressure !! I am ready with my tin hat on..fire away !!
Acealfa, you have summed it up pretty well from my memory. You are correct about the drilling that when they start they want it as a continuous program, they didn't rule out starting this year they just won't be pinned down to it unless everything is in place. They sounded to be working very hard behind the scenes, on all fronts to get this together and when they start, they start. I was left more confident also.
Sundance...you absolute ball$ack!! I've spilled more on my boots than what you have put into this dog... I was only airing my frustrations as to the current issues etc so no need for your school lesson comments...
I see both sides, one being bullish and the other with lead boots on....as for Ducati, yes he is a fountain of valuable information and most defo a good source of information that he comes across... #baller!!
Thanks for that, I missed it. Positive news for Sidi could be a real bonus.
I decided yesterday to bite the bullet & buy a chunk to greatly bring my average down to around 3-4p. I was only half listening on the Q&A as I expected it to be released later on but here are a few points I remember.
There's been much more interest in Sidi recently so hopefully there will be some real progress soon but don't recall any more talk of solar farms?
Reading between the lines we won't be drilling this year & licences will likely be extended. Once drilling starts it will be back-to-back for the 3 proposed areas. M5 has some significant upside. I did however see KTF's update since saying drilling still could be possible this year.
I was left reassured the tax issue will be dealt with. They have something up their sleeve to help their case but didn't want to give it away over the Q&A. Absolute worst case it is upheld but measures would be in place if so. They plan on taking it to the courts & have the resources to do so but they keep a channel open to the tax authorities to resolve it informally.
I'm much more confident the share price will start to reflect the progress that has been made.
Have you read ANY of the post Q&A commentary?
have BOD came to solution? will be devastating if SOU has to do massive placing for that
GL, isthere any rabbit to chase or are we just waiting ? gla
Thanks smithfields for posting this Angus update. With hindsight, a Sound - Angus merger might have made very good sense. Confirms that our GL and team do have their eyes very much on the ball and we are in good hands.
GL has an eye for good deals...

KTF - Thanks for that update re potential drilling programme and timelines.
Sounds promising
Mr Pimp
If you can steal yourself away from your daily duty and workload down at the local garden centre or chippy for just a brief few moments and read and digest the excellent research that Mr Ducati provides on this board from time to time you may come to the conclusion that apart from Ducati using words and descriptions of more than 3 syllables, something you may have difficulty understanding I hasten to add ,your rendition and forecast of this company,s prospects compare it to an item of waste equipment whereas Mr Ducati,s forecast trends into the positive arena that we may one day and that day soon we all get to make some money.
Ignorance is bliss Mr Pimp but you abuse that privilege
Hi KTF, many thanks for info

They didn't say directly on the call but have subsequently clarified when I mailed them.
They are pushing for a three well programme and this takes longer to arrange. However, they said it is possible the first will spud this year. I think it probable they will announce partner and plan soonish with possible 2022 spud or if not early January, with all three in quick succession.
Morning all,
I did manage to listen to a good deal of the recent Q&A session but unfortunately missed the reply when the question was asked re drilling, I know they intend to drill all three in succession but did they reply as to when this might be ?

Another great post full of relevant information. Thanks, Ducati.
These are areas that could have gas potential, and which are still in the exploration phase. Sound Energy holds, in addition to the Tendrara concession, areas with potential for gas within the framework of oil agreements on Grand Tendrara and Anoual. These two areas are adjacent to the Tendrara concession, and are subject to assessment work. Sound Energy also operates in the Essaouira basin as part of the Sidi Mokhtar onshore oil agreement.
Indeed, ONHYM participated in the MSGBC Oil, Gas and Power international conference held in Dakar (Senegal) at the beginning of September 2022 and whose theme is "the future of natural gas: growth through strategic investment and policy development”.
In this context, ONHYM participated in the round table entitled "A new vision to accelerate production and financing in a context of energy transition", where it highlighted Africa's energy potential (particularly in renewable energies and gas) and its role in the energy transition as well as the means of encouraging investments and gas infrastructures.
ONHYM is a catalyst for the exploration of hydrocarbons and mines. ONHYM's vision is centered on four fundamental principles. The aim is to ramp up mining and oil exploration in Morocco?but also to strengthen the dynamics of openness to the world market and the development of partnerships, an integral part of the policy of promoting the country's oil and mining wealth. .
welcome...
thanks for the valuable insight
the way this has been and continues to be dragged out the Morocco/Nigeria pipeline will be operational before this pile of $hite drills another hole in the dirt....toilet!!!
