IGas Recap... proactiveinvestors.co.uk 26/04/17 Video... Kerogen investment of $35m they have "deep knowledge of the sector" "Balance sheet taken to a completely different place" "Cash generative at $35 a barrel including administrative expenses"...... Fool.co.uk 22/06/17 "forgotten growth stocks with massive potential"........ Ft.com 03/07/17 "$55m of fresh capital and cut borrowings from $122m to just $7m through a debt-for-equity swap"..... IMO Most IGas quoted financial information is out of date and does not reflect restructure, debt reduction and share consolidation.... (4.5p/90p at restructuring and consolidation..... 2.4bn shares in issue to c.120 million)...... Today @3.25p/65p and Mkt Cap £79m it's a steal. DYOR
Guessing not where investors are concerned. http://guernseypress.com/news/uk-news/2017/08/17/uk-is-55-million-years-too-late-for-fracking-to-work-says-expert/

Wonder why Egdon is on the way up while Igas is down. They seem to be very similar companies to me, decent management, no or very little debt, a base in conventional oil and gas and both with very good unconventional prospects. ??
I have read two stories on the depth of this hole. One, the 900 meters was a minimal depth. In which case there is no issue. Two, the 900 meters was an average depth. I do not understand how you can have an average depth of 1 hole. The hole starts at 1 meter, and it finished at 2000mtr. So, no problem I would say!! On average that is 1000 meter?

Digas, nice article. I advice you not to buy this share! Bye bye. In theorizing about the future their is always merit in certain scenarios. I think the opportunity in the UK could be huge, depending on the exploration programs. Reasons are: - zero cost for acreage - water pipelines near any site, no trucking, hardly any new infrastructure investments - gas pipelines near any site, no trucking, hardly any new infrastructure investments - gas supply in Europe under pressure; Russia is NOT a friend. Middle East is Volatile and part instable. - gas prices 2x to 3x higher in UK then US - indigenous gas means positive impact on trade balance and tax revenues. Important before, but also after Brexit The exaggerated conditions Cuadrilla has to deal with in terms of its permit will be normalized, so cost will come down. Imagine, they have to collect the rain water and transport it off site by tanker. Absurd. So far it is nothing more than an ordinary construction site in terms of activity and materials. Secondly, Cuadrilla has to built a huge 15mtr high sound wall around the rig. Although the noise produced would be within the national set standards for drilling. At the same time protestors have built up a sound system at the entrance that blasts music all day long, so the protesting doesn't become too boring... It is simply disgusting, and it shows the disingenuous motives of these protestors. The site can hardly be seen from the road... Anyway, in no way I try to convince you to invest in this share. I thank your for your advice to me and other investors, and wish you all the best!
Digas you only post on the Igas board yet you are clearly not invested here. My guess you are just a green activist in disguise. How about a bit of honesty for a change.
So now we know that at Ellesmere Port in 2014 IGas drilled 1000m deeper than they had planning permission to do. Can they ever be trusted to do what they say they are going to do?
The consciousness of sheep blog takes a cynical view of the world and is an unreliable commentator.Read through the site and you will see the usual lefty slant to everything.
I disagree. http://consciousnessofsheep.co.uk/2017/08/12/the-shale-revolution-ends-with-a-bang/
Article from early June. Since then a well pad has been built of highest standards, rig will start this week / next week. And at the same time the 'protestors' (anarchist really) have done themselves a great service in live streaming all their abuse, threats, lies and incoherent statements; as a result the so called anti shale movement has diminished. Even people that do not support shale will bow their heads in shame if you take the time to see what these protestors all have done. Blocking the roads for days on end, intimidating and threatening suppliers. The list is endless. We are now only months away before we can embrace our own national energy, clean and virtually limitless, as the Bowland shale is humongous! It will be the biggest gas field in Europe, bringing relatively clean energy and many many jobs.
Well maybe some of the demand will come from readers of Malcy's blog.... "Igas are now in a strong position to take advantage of the potential for conventional and unconventional gas resources in the UK."...and remember his predictions rose nearly 50% on average last year.
http://www.iii.co.uk/articles/436034/oil-man%3A-igas-energy-wentworth-resources-premier-oil Not sure I have enough posts to post links but if not then just to say there is a nice piece from Malcy today about Igas which pretty well sums up where we are. "Previous well information suggests that geometry allows for an accumulation of conventionally trapped hydrocarbons within the Pentre Chert." Exciting times ahead. This is a share to hold and forget.... or buy more of at the current ridiculously cheap price.
The way they keep away buyers so that there's no buying pressure and small sales can send the price down is so devious. Now where's all this demand that you see?
IMO Lots of MM games to suppress the price sub 70p and fill orders, look at simultaneous automated sells. Plenty of demand from knowledgeable investors.
There's no need to shout.
PROSTRATE!!!
Pet ownership in the United States creates about 64 million tons of carbon dioxide a year, UCLA researchers found. That’s the equivalent of driving 13.6 million cars for a year. The problem lies with the meat-filled diets of kitties and pooches, according to the study by UCLA geography professor Gregory Okin. Dogs and cats are responsible for 25 to 30 percent of the impacts of meat production in the United States, said Orkin. Compared to a plant-based diet, meat production “requires more energy, land and water and has greater environmental consequences in terms of erosion, pesticides and waste,” the study found.
Sorry, that should be $54 billion
Watching a share price creates emotional turbulence. There are some positives to focus on, which should bode well for the future. Kerogen, a hedge Fund that invests in energy stocks, has a 28% holding. Trans European Oil and Gas have 15%. Cuadrilla should soon be fracking near Blackpool. When they start bringing gas up the igas share price will rise. Many of our operations are being done in conjunction with Ineos. Ineos land shale gas from the US at their docks at Grangemouth. They have a turnover of $54 million dollars. Jim Ratcliffe, the boss of Ineos, has taken out a national injunction against the protesters, to apply wherever he is operating. They can wave placards but they are forbidden from disrupting the operation, otherwise they are in contempt of court. We are just waiting for Cuadrilla to bring gas from their well and the share price will rise.
Toying with the idea of buying back in here, things seem to be looking up.
