Medco made an unsolicited approach on 22 October, when the sp was 42.75p. Just look at the chart to see what happened next. Obviously manufactured, I agree with Nkotb. And was the announcement by Medco today a further attempt at a shake.
My Posts have been removed when suggested that the fall in our sp was 'manufactured' for the benefit of others ... can not name names as this post will be removed again ...( may even anyway !!! )
Am I reading this correctly? Medco have cut their offer by 5 pence, because the license was not renewed.
Seriously, are they for real? Did they value the Fortuna license at $50m?
I will not even comment the offer they have made.....What a bunch of jokers!!!
Can we just tell them to go away and play with their own toys.
My answer and my vote if it comes to this is: No, thanks!

Go on Big Al..... sock it to these jokers and bring shareholders value!
Ophir have all the cheese to set the traps ... expect PR to go metal over the weekend in the build up to Tuesday

It is quite laughable to not mention PoO when quoting how much of an increase the price is based on Dec 28th price for example...I'm no profession but that even had me reaching for the swears, the cheeky...!
See short term traders are leaving .... time to load up again for next wave.
Medco can not justify lower oil prices over the last few months ... for any oil company using that as an excuse is a joke. Sounds like they have an even short market view than our local pi traders.

Markets are bust imo so opportunistic offers are rife atm .... look at Flybe today, currently trading at 250% ABOVE the t/o offer this morning.
Not an actual offer as yet, it’s if they do make an offer. Atb
Can anyone explain or speculate as to why the share price is trading well below the indicative offer of 48.5? Seems odd.
I will be rejecting it.
I'm sure they could get a lot more by selling off the assets in bits!
I personally think it was shorter rather than Medco!
Also, I highly doubt we’ll be in a net cash position! May be by end of year but not next update !
Let’s see what OPHR make of the offer
yep, frustration on my part naming Medco as the culprit. I do however think they have been involved using a third party to push the price down ..... the endless 'A' trades for months on end, someone was behind those aimo.
If it wasn't them then who and to what end, maybe they will show their faces soon !!!
48.5p .... seriously !!! Lets see how much cash we have on hand come our trading update.
Just a little reminder of the offer price predictions:
48p - Mor16
50p - IAmNotAnAnalyst
48-52p (50p average) - munchbox54
55p/58p (56.5p average) - dusterinmong
58p - NewKOTB
60p - Harts
55-65p (60p average) - Ammu123
55-65p (60p average) - ArielArrow
70p - Rookie1
70p - LuckCounts
Mor16 seems to be somekind of wizard...however, this isn't the actual offer as the RNS makes clear, there's still time and it'll either stay the same or go up from here (unless Ophir decide to pay a chunky dividend)!
How did Medco force the price down to reduce the volume line weighted average price?
Offer won’t go through I’ll be topping up in the mid 30s
Will come back with higher offer but can't see it being more than 60p. No deal for me. GLA
Chance your arm type of offer ..... nothing more and I'm not sure how serious Medco are now thb
joke offer, not even close to the same sale metrics we paid for Santos .....
Market clearly thinks 45p is a no deal..... forget Medco, let us move on and by end of year we should be +70p imo
As I suggested, Medco needed to get an offer our before 15th, now lets see how much backing our board are prepared to give us with our trading update. That will be a defining RNS imo
Time for another interested party to enter over the weekend.
Makes your offer here ....GREAT !!!!
**** take, they are the ones that force the sp down to create a false "weighted average."
NO SALE ....repeat, NO SALE, tell Medco to do one imo.
