Share price has now overtaken that of GGP indicating more people becoming aware of SVE's attractions and thus narrowing discount to NAV.
KEFI moving up nicely. ORCP on the brink of news. Might try and jump over here but I've positioned myself for the ORCP rise. 3rd tranche to average down coming.
Sold SVE to buy ODX/AVCT - then GGP went and jumped. Gotta love my timing!
If indeed gold stocks continue to shine starvest portfolio is hedged in favour of the precious metal . Ggp, kefi, Cora. No debt and 15p nav.
OIl price collapses, AIM oil penny dreadfuls take off, although in the case of CERP understandable. Gold price heading for peaks unscaled since 2012 yet goldies take a breather. As you say funny old market, particularly AIM Mkx
Does SVE have any debt? Having looked at the results in FEB 2020, it looks like only £60k debt. Is that correct as that represents results ending 30 Sep 2019?
To a few gold companies with this. Indeed 3m sold. Nav 15p.
I see in the latest RNS that SVE says that it owns 82-million GGP shares, three million down on what was previously reported
Ggp on the move .surely this must move. And re rate. Sve hold 85m ggp £££
On the move nav at 15p easy double to be had
Tried (out of curiosity) to sell a few of my s/h. Could only sell 15k shares but can buy huge numbers. Don't quite understand the apparent discrepancy. Can someone enlighten me? Also surprised by the lack of posts given the close relationship with GGP.
SVE runs about 80% behind it's NAV because of costs. That still means the share price will double though!
Numis has upped its target for Greatland Gold from 6 to 12p this morning. At 12p, that would value SVE's 85 million Greatland shares at just over £10million - compared with SVE's current total market capitalisation of about £4.2m
7.7mil atm
The 100, 000 sell at 09.53 earlier today was actually a buy priced at 7.30 as I bought these myself given Starvest's healthy balance sheet which includes their current holdings in GGP.
Worth 6.4m at current ggp price if my maths correct
Again cheap entry into ggp. 84m at 8p ....
Watch this fly
In ggp .....
Probably the most undervalued aim share, tuck a few more before t he herd get wind for as sure as eggs as ggp rises so do Starvest perhaps with a slight lag. Gg
That’s much better, if it holds . Will rise to align itself to 70% NAV or about 11p. Awaiting news late April of Newcrest's drilling of Haverion, should be interesting and very profitable. Hold for the rising cost of goldin very uncertain times.
This is definitely one for the future. ORCP, KEFI and the mountain that will be GGP
This at the moment is joined at the hip with ggp, keep an eye on ggp news later this month, if there are step outs at haverarion and better still open in any direction, ggp and Starvest will fly, the good thing with Starvest is you get a bit of insurance, not totally dependant on ggp. keep the faith this really has to be worth 10 p in anyone’s books.
Discrepancy is explained by wide spread and the possibility the BOD will reward themselves rather than PI's from ggp success, imv. This company is not as bad as prim but risk is present , said the LTH!
Bought in as a play on Ggp up 13% today, numbers seem incredibly cheap 85 million ggp shares valued at 4 million plus, as well as all the other stuff, and Starvest market capitalisation 2 million. Could someone please explain the discrepancy? Candy and babies come to mind.
GGP is taking a battering, KEFI also got hit for not material reason...Yet the gold price continues to rise? Odd thing this trading market.
