lt - Vladimir and Estragon waited forever for Godot. This was the subject of a play. Nothing to do with vlad buying! Maxim was just showing he knew about the play :) ......
MB - who are still waiting? are you implying vlad will buy if the price is right?
still waiting:-(
Not tempted at .7, Vladimir may be but Estragon is not
Well done cha . But don't forget Hot Tuna debacle - same people involved . Be careful
I was asking more about buying in than selling out . I also would need to get my buyin price back if I sold . I hold a fair amount - doubt if could sell the lot . But like Maxb I think what is there to lose .Better to go down fighting than just sit around . And would even be tempted to buy at these prices if I had spare cash . I see you backtracked on cha.Sold up and then bought back in . Good luck whatever you do . Ps I may go to June thing .
I'm with the Halifax. No problem. They will hold the shares for you. No need to do anything unless you plan on selling. Will show as nil value but you still own the shares
I'm not tempted at all, are you? From your change of opinion I thought you'd be the second inline to cash out? Even if they climbed and went past the suspension price even a little bit over I still say no. If it some how doubled then I might be swayed, but depends on my cash flow is at that time. I see CHA recovered today after a couple of red days and ended up 13% Stav. A new board member was introduced and bought £600k via a share placing straight away there was also a delayed trade from yesterday for £70k which is a lot of shares in Chonca.
Anyone remember the name of the two main " characters ".
Would.make it more complicated / long winded to trade -assuming you wanted to trade them -with JP Jenkins . Why not just move to a broker willing to hold them in electronic form for you . Barclays amongst others. RTO 1& 2 Assume after RTO is completed - supposedly any day soon - larger trades should go through . As for this so called second RTO I will believe it when I see it . Godot has lost all credibility with me.
Almost 700k trades today all @ 0.7. Are you tempted at these prices . Last big trade of around 350k. http://lmmx.co.uk/companies/profile/matra-petroleum-plc/
I suggest you speak to Halifax, i hold mine with HSBC and got a letter from them stating that after de-listing they won't be able to hold them as electronic shares but they would issue me with the share certs, which i have arranged with them. The brokers etc seem to all have different polices from the postings on here.
Dear oh dear.
I have a very small amount of shares currently with Halifax. Can anyone help with my question (they are closed now). Do I keep them sitting with Halifax or do I pass them on to JP Jenkins for them to handle. Not sure yet if anyone knows or has a clue what is likely to happen to the Shareprice and when. I have to admit that I rarely post here, but in a nutshell, anyone know the score please? Thanks.
I don't think anyone will know that because it's based on factors like the value of the company. You mention $200 million, but they need another $15 million via a loan, how will that reflect the calculations. All I know is the shackles are now off and they can go full speed ahead with the other RTO.... They did indeed say the timing was of the upmost importance, so now we shall see if they are indeed true to there word and go for that 2nd RTO, which they stated they couldn't do while in AIM. If no takeover happens pretty sharpish then I do think it's game over for sure, and we've been had. But if that 2nd RTO does happen like they said it would then there is some hope. Maybe not a lot of hope but it's still some, and from that some grows a US oil and gas company ready to be re listed...... But the clock is ticking.
Please see reply from Lloyds With regards to use of the shares following a re-listing on the US markets, it is unlikely these shares will be re-instated as the listing will be considered new and from a new firm to which these shares are not related.
the company does re-list in the US and has a value of $200m - what would the approximate share price be?
i guess a few will appear over the next few weeks
But lots of intention of interest - "apparently " Buyers and sellers .Dont believe it
Anyone got a price yet?????
De Der de der de d de de d de Der....the last post!!!! Gla....
Actually, the easiest way to go to general chat is off the 'share chat' link on the header bar of this page, then 'general chat' then 'general'.
Done !
Admin have replied to the question I asked of them yesterday about whether this bb will survive after Matra de-list tomorrow. Here is the reply from Sophie in Admin: "I have seen your reported post regarding MTA chat board. Unfortunately we don't know when boards are going to get removed after being delisted. It is whenever they are removed from the feeds from our third party data supplier, which we do not have any control over. You could create a group in General Chat for MTA posters to use once the board has been removed. This gives you plenty of time to advise members to use a group created by yourself (or another) in GC." All the best". So, if we find that this bb is removed, we can set up our own MTA chat in the general chat section. Easy to find, it's off share chat (in the left margin of this page at the top of the grey boxes). Infact, I will create a MTA site now so it's up and running. atb
