He's got 50k shares - posted it earlier . Maxb what are you going to do may 1. How high will you go to average down . 0.5p or even 0.7? 1p?
Do you mind me asking, How much have you got invested in Matra?
Off topic with rmp they are not performing very well and the stability in somalia looks bleak at the mo. i continue to hold as Georgia is worth cash and horn who own 60% of the assets are values at circa £20million for 60% but range and rmp have no value at all.....says it all for aim
I have also lost a small amount. as i said happy to get rid at 0.5p

You need to stop gloating here. Doesn't look good . Things will be drawn out here. But the evidence so far seems it point to them relsiting eventually . I am not happy about the way things have worked out but lets see . With all due respect - RMP -where you supposedly hold astronomic amounts is not doing too well. Yes I know before you reply - they have cash in the bank . Even stranger then that sp is touching year lows . So less gloating please . The fact that Somalia is one of the worlds most stable countries in the world no doubt must be deeply reassuring for all RMP holders . Ps are you sips joy looking for buyer for 50k shares . If so I am interested .
Had a similar situation a while back with EVT still got the shares in My HBOS account with final price whenm delisted . They use matched bargain facilities if you want to trade is this the same? I'll hang to my MTA shares anyway but we've been through a lot together LOL!!
Its easy money. most of aim companies ends up lining the bod pockets these days! even when they don't perform
Hind pocketed £400,000 when Max sacked him, not bad eh!!!!
Both have senior positions again. bad how this one has worked out for all here.
Apr 22 at 3:31 PM Dear Mr XXXXX Further to our conversation a few moments ago I can confirm that any delisted stock stays on your nominee account. The stock can be withdrawn in certificated form at a charge of £25, however, if this is not undertaken then the stock remains as is but will show nil value. If the stock is relisted on an alternative market then this will be reflected on your account at the time of listing. if you have any further queries then please do not hesitate to contact me. Yours, Alistair Cook Client Services
Thank you - my Matra alert reply didn't go to spam. So far so good . But still not sure where this is leading to . Doesn't mean will relist anytime soon . They have to be seen to be treating small shareholders - whom they have just effectively financially castrated at least for a good while and maybe permanently - well . Wouldn't look good otherwise would it and would get bad press . As for those who cited MB moving to Texas with his family as a good sign for us . Garbage - Why ! His salary is being paid for by the company so why shouldn't he move there with his family . I am no longer a believer . I was for the last year and half believing in the nonsense they were spouting . It's actions not words that count now .
There is an "e-mail alert" box that has appeared too on the Home page. I guess fill it in to be kept up to date! The auto response back from MTA went into my junk box to watch out for that when you are activating. http://www.matrapetroleum.com/m/

Check out the website pics - Dallas with JR Ewing springs to mind - lol
on share dealing during the delisted period (and hopefully thereafter) is on its way- presumably within a week or so- ATB!
I have heard that line a few times all ready form certain people "if they register as the same company" cannot see how they cannot, other wise everyone would lose. still it is a waiting game
I don't post very often on here but I do read other peoples input out of interest....Thank you for posting. Its just a waiting game then.........
new to this board and site but felt it worth posting an update in relation to the shares held through Halifax trading. Phoned and discussed with them this morning - they told me that Halifax will hold shares until Matra advise that the company is wound up or otherwise. If MTA choose to re-list on the NYSE then Halifax will send a ‘subscriber agreement form’ which needs to be signed and returned. MTA shares held on LSE will then transfer to NYSE. This is presuming, however, that MTA list as the same company in the U.S., which given their recent tactics, I do not hold in much high hope.
This has been copied and pasted from Matra website..... 6 Corporate Governance / Listing plans  If Matra is delisted, the Company’s management is committed to maintaining high standards of corporate governance including updates on developments and operational progress. Frequency of financial reports – every 6 months.  Matra believes that to facilitate continued active growth in the USA, to maximise shareholder liquidity and to ensure realization of full shareholder value, shares should ultimately be listed on USA stock exchange does this mean that shares can be re-listed on the USA market at a later date...?

Ultrapunch, throwing around comments laced with faux-sincerity such as "you don't sound that bright" actually defeats any point you were trying to make. Other people can make their own mind up whether I' 'bright' or not. You've told the poster mline not "to be silly", you accused another poster of posting nonsense, you've patronised Billy, Stav and pretty much most people that disagree with your viewpoint. Now that's not being bright. You tore in to the poster Lucan all because you misread his post (you missed the acronym ' cfd'). You stated in your sickeningly condescending way that " the FT journalist is sadly delusional, I'm afraid". Another put down from you: "can you explain your post, Jason as I don't understand your logic." Another time you attacked the poster TonyBaby because you didn't realise he was joking (although you said later you did see his winks but you still attacked him!). And that's what I found after a 5 minute look back at the last 2/3 weeks. There's much more of your patronising, condescending superiority complex on earlier posts but I couldn't be arsed posting it. Let me tell you what I think highlights a lack of brightness: when someone trolls a chat discussion day after day when he doesn't even hold shares in the company being discussed. Lol. Go and suck a blade, idiot. Stav is right. Some of us retain hope, others don't. I have zero hope but the best of luck to shareholders of MTA (you know, punchy, people that actually HAVE shares in MTA), who still retain hope, I mean that. Finally, we all advise each other to do our own research. Do a google search for Maxim Barskiy but this time spell his name Maksim Barsky. The source for the item that paints him in colours I'd already heard about. DYOR on the source of the article (not the website the link is on because the website is sensationalist). The link itself is from an agenda-driven source but it is exactly what I'd heard from fairly reliable sources. Gla.
