Mysteryguy "This is gonna blow up"

that's what the fella with the limpets thought before he realised he couldn't swim underwater as he had forgotten his goggles.

ahh, gotta love it when you can bring conversations full circle.
Now Elvis dear boy, I'll have haddock chips and mushy peas please. Nice shoes by the way, are they suede?

The intention was solely to make a point. Had the ships sunk, there would have been retaliatory strikes
Like shooting down the drone. Iran have proved they can now. There will be further incidents like this and so far there have been no fatalities. As soon as there is a miscalculation and there are casualties, it's game on.
This is why airlines are now avoiding Iranian airspace

being x navy, you should be aware that limpit mines are always used below water line
even when the ship is not loaded,as the idea is to sink the ship
thank god you were not in our navy when needed

pi nice post ,glad you took no offence as none was intended

You speak cobblers.

Very easy to apply limpit mines above water line on an oil tanker that is not laden, as the empty tanks which will have a goodly amount of vapour in them are exposed above water and will combust quite nicely thank you.

Also the twin towers is a classic example of self demolition, where the intense fire from the planes overcame the fire protection of the columns on three floors, bringing on failure of thier structural integrity, and therefore the weight of the other ten or so floors above effectively came down as a vertical sudden implied load which overwhelmed the structure beneath, with a cummulative weight effect until it was just a pile of rubble. straight forward structural mechanics.

part of previous post clearly not being taken as intended.
I am sure there is a great deal of work going on behind the scenes.

I am however not convinced that the work load has always been as high as it is today.

As for the conspiracy theories I do not pretend to know enough about limpet mines, or building structural load limits or how the steel reacts with temperature, pressure and impact forces.
I have seen a warehouse racking collapse that did not follow my perceived knowledge so do know that things do not always follow expected outcomes.

I do know that a good G and T requires ice and that we are all out. That is something that must be addressed in the short term.

when you state that nothing is getting done
i have to question your buisness knowledge
it is misleading to say the least
the same as america claiming that the iranians, planted limpit mines
on oil tankers
a fool knows that limpit mines are put on ships below the water line
and not above it
the same as a reasonablly sensible person knows that,
there is no way two planes could bring the twin towers down,as
only a controlled detonation is capable of bringing any building down verticaly

I think more likely an announcement out of the blue like the exclusivity agreement. If the sp starts gaining on no news, then a speeding ticket would be issued, which wouldn't be the RNS holders would want to see and nor the one BPC would want to issue. I can't see the sp going up on any leaks either, as BPC are watertight.

Whether it’s 4,5,6 or 7 months it seems inevitable to me that as we progress towards the end of the year anticipation will increase and the sp will start to rise. This could then end in tears with no deal but the possibility of a mega return will draw people in. It’s a question of when this momentum will start.

I’m goibg to disagree with you there IK, I think it will be 5 months max.

The big question, and further torment for any LTH’s will be is when to exit from this if anticipation does build in the run up?

Taking guidance from the near 8p this sp got to during Exclusivity, that would indicate this share is comfortably good for something in the early to mid 10’s. Loose words from the Attorney General got it to 4p. Words I still believe to be accurate and true.

However, look where Exclusivity ended up so there’s nothing guaranteed and a lot of us a worn down so thin with this. Would someone be happy walking away at 4p and live with themselves if it hit 16p?????

I am more convinced than ever now though that those Attorney General words were correct back in February and he was repeating what will have been said to him when BPC were looking for the extension.

I agree that with BPC things move slowly. However I also agree with the 6 month timeline.
My thinking with this timeline is simple, beyond that if we do not have an agreement in place there is such a slim chance of getting a drill programme in place we may as well declare BPC a dodo share.
That will be even worse if within xx months A.N.Other company steps in and does a deal with Gov't Bahamas and becomes a phoenix rising from the ashes that once were BPC. On one hand the LTHs here will confirm they were right to have faith in the BPC prospects.
On the other hand they will know that SP has held their unicorn share in the palm of his hand only to let it slip away.

Come on SP do the deal. If you are having trouble finding the words just play a video of Sir Robert of Geldof (circa 1985)

Either that or set football transfer window deadlines for all interested parties. We could have a deadline day deal window live on the broadcaster of your choice. I fully expect Harry Redknapp to then get involved only to sign Crouch, Defoe and Kranjcar.

Get estate agents in, full and final offers must be submitted by this date. All offers submitted after this point will be rejected.

Anything that helps just do the deal.

IMHO
This is one of those game/life changers.
Do not play this one - when/if it goes it will not be seen for “dust” (hopefully no pun intended.)
We are very close to a result one way or tother.
Please don’t miss the boat through impatience.

not brave enough to risk being out with my main pot just in case. I would not be happy if I missed out there at this late stage.
However, I have looked at the trading pot a few times and even considered just greedily adding to the trading pot if the price dips towards the 1.2 range.
