It's not a loss in my book. Selling lower than you bought is the loss. Panicking and selling on no news is a loss.

I have no care or want to check Somms post. I will leave that need to you. You bought in at a significantly higher price to what it is now. That is a LOSS in anyone's book. There is absolutely no noteworthy skill to how I invest. I have never said otherwise.

hinkais - That is slightly unfair comment to make about BPC.

Lynthip, I would tend to agree this has more chance of being 2+p by end of next week rather than 1p.

The reason for that is that all the positive fundamentals for investing in this company are still there, still as they always have been. The ambiguous ‘Cessation’ RNS that came out has now had more clarity provided on it with confirmation the company is seeking a Joint Venture deal and has confirmed, quoted in the press, it is on negotions with multiple parties. MQ are still here and still involved actively working on securing us s deal.

There is obviously still significant risk a deal will not be done but as far as low market cap companies go, what more do people actually need to take a positive outlook on this share? If we had much more we wouldn’t be a low m cap penny share!

If people don’t like or believe the information in the public domain about this company they should spend there time reasesrching something elsewhere to make their fortune.

Perhaps limit losses then .impossible to have perfect timing buy or sell .might be flogging a dead horse here for a while though.

Mr Neptunes do you time your investing perfectly each time? I have 15% pass loss in BPC but it's only a loss if it's sold which I have no intention as I believea JV will happen. Bit of an underhand comment speaking about my market timing like that.

Maybe you should check Somm's post I was referring to. Very misleading. Looks like you're defending it.

Potter is quoted as saying “more competitive” in the Tribune article which the reporter puts in the context of ‘bidding environment’.

Scully12345 - Have to say that I never said any of that but that's fine you compare me to Somm or whoever else to make yourself feel better for being heavily underwater, but you do realise it's the weekend and the market is closed?

Hinkais, So you bought kln at 1p then sold your £1400 quid at loss at 0.67p then you were shouting sell at 0.38p then you bought back at 0.35p and then started changing your voice and now shouting buy buy?

Throughout your posting history you deramp to get better entry then switch to ramping when you've purchased. You have no morals or ethics. Just a deceitful liar.

PageofCups - just after 6pm today you posted "I spoke to the company". We don't believe you were told anything that is market sensitive and not already in the public domain.

You're the opposite end of the spectrum to a poster like Somm/Neptunes. A lying ramper to their lying deramper.

I think this is a strong buy but please don't try to deceive people or you're just as bad as Somm/Neptunes. It's market abuse and therefore illegal.

You heard how Neptunes/Somm tried to twist Potter's words where he was clearly being positive about not losing sleep because he is confidence there's a deal - Neptunes/Somm tried to make out he wasn't losing sleep because he couldn't care less about whether there's a deal or notm clear deception from the "good doctor".

You are ramping here, taking what Potter said then adding your own little piece " are now being finalised with competitive bidding. " That was not said by Potter or anyone else at BPC, you made it up. What was said was locked in joint venture talks with multiple parties, end of. We have been here before, exactly one year ago there were 4 Non-Disclosure agreements that came to nothing. I would love to see a deal signed only time will tell.

Insiduous poster Somm had the cheek the try to twist this article to be something bad when, in fact, it's good http://www.tribune242.com/news/2018/sep/20/oil-explorer-shrugs-end-exclusive-talks/?news

Somm tried to twist the line about Potter not losing sleep about a deal when, in context, Potter is clearly stating he is confident about a deal.

Somm you really are a misleading and lying poster aren't you. Disgusting conduct on this board. Yet Neptunes doesn't pull you up on this. He only criticises me for ghe fact I remain positive about a food outcome for us genuine holders here.

I suggest Neptunes and Somm (the same person) simply stop posting here...because you're not welcome.

Page of Cups- I grant you there was a reference to “opening discussions with multiple parties” but nothing in the article referred to a “competitive bidding process”. Please enlighten us as to your sources.

Spiritefan - Simon Potter has spoken about it this week.

A Bahamas-based oil explorer yesterday said it was now locked in joint venture talks with “multiple parties” after a “major global oil company” ended their exclusive negotiations.

Anybody that speaks to the company will just get the usual statement, ie data room busy interest from oil companies and talks progressing. That is about all they will say and nothing about competitive bidding that's for sure, somebody guessing again and one of these times they might be lucky.
