20p looks unlikely pricing now, Eastern
pls no nostalgia - otherwise we could remember the sunlit uplands of the dot com boooooom and the wonder of the late 1920s This is gritty reality and Tan needs to communicate.....where is an rns/ims (nothing since interims back in sept)? are you profitable? hello, anyone there? Jolly peeved
I originally bought in at 17p circa 3 yrs ago and here we are heading south towards that price once more Hard to believe now but this was one of my fave shares back in the day (as the yanks would say)!
exploratory teens imo
when selecting opinion
Hi 1400 Saw the film in the '60s? I'm amazed you were old enough to get in & that you are not out of the dreaded rat race by now...or perhaps you are and your horrid tube experience wasn't a commute atb anyhow Jolly
of decent trading vol - interesting to see which way this breaks
I'm surprised the sp is still as high as it is, I fully expect the teens to be breached shortly. A placing is imminent imo if they can get one away this time, I can't for the life of me see any other option. Placing based on books this year will be terrible again, 10/11M loss, not enough cash to reramp up production assuming the order book is still healthy. I hope the breather they all took post October has fully refreshed the management enough for them to at least to be able to do their jobs properly. If they can't this time around then they should be replaced with people who can. How much has Kell been paid through the downturn, have a look you will be amazed just how much you earn for failure these day's.
so, who is surpised by the SP performancee...or rather the lack thereof????? Flush it - trust me. Better yet, research the facts, books, numbers... ..... ..... ..... . .got it? Faith and hope are a god thing, but not with this group.
Had to look up Humbert, Humbert and immediately saw Lolita, so probably your right. Trouble is I remember seeing the film in the '60's. All innocent mind you.........
I look at this and feel disappointed. Disappointed by a poor BOD who are more interested in payroll then profit. No communication, no confidence provided. I think there will be a placing at 20p in the very near future. When that happens the SP will react downwards. I will be surprised if they do find any II's who will trust them at this point and we may see a repeat similar to the offer from 2009 to general investors. I have no choice but to top-up. I have thought and still think that EV's have a great future. It is the only way nations can reduce CO2 emissions in the long term. The internal combustion engine for mass transport has no future.
1400, you're sounding a little Humbert Humbert
Are we all looking to be 'teenagers' again? Be careful what you ask for. I guess teenagers in skimpy outfits make best 'cheerleaders'
Yes, this board needs some cheerleaders - the recent posts have been crafted by realists preaching to the converted Enjoy a healthy, happy & prosperous New Year, Monty I may join you with a cheeky punt in the teens atb Jolly
nearing its 52week low and still no support, could freefall, where is myo and eastern? market cap looks huge for a company running dangerously low on funding hmmm not worth a 5k punt as only see negative rns in coming weeks.. will wat for teens as that looks inevitable
in strong market...poor effort
150/- buy at 29.75p (probably expertly wrapped). Just hope it doesn't get returned as 'damaged goods' Certainly explains the 29p bid. ATB and Merry Christmas.
The Corrector is absolutley correct. They don't have cash and regardless of what they reported for October being a profit (I really doubt it was profitable) they count inter -company sales as company sales and count it agian when the machines finally sells to a 3rd party (how can you sell the same machine twice?). They were counting on the IPO. Call Snorkel suppliers in the UK or in Kansas or China and they will tell you Snorkel owes a boat load of cash and is always on credit hold and that is why they can't build machines because they can't get parts!!!!! It is a joke to run a business this way. They struggle just to make payroll!! The BOD won't take a credit line as it is expensive and hits the BOD in their pockets. Call exsiting customers and they will confirm that they can't get spare parts as well.
I presume he refers to the lack of focus on the part of the management in respect of Snorkel, and that they are currently taking a breather. Lets look at their current plight, losses to 30/06/12 £7M, add to that losses in July, August and September, lets assume another £2M, before a profitable October, confirmed by Kell apparently. Now they are on a breather, so assume more losses in November and December. I would expect based on the above a year end loss of circa £11M, with cash dwindling. Therefore I do not think they will have the cash resources in the new year to ramp production back up. I also think they were expecting a cash inflow following the Smith IPO, and the repayment of the loan they issued to Smith£2M. None of the above will now happen, so I expect a fundraising excercise eary 2013 to keep Snorkel afloat. A business the size of Snorkel requires large cash resources to trade and oil the supply chain, they did this briefly mid 2012, but looking at the figures, it failed. All imo of course but I can see no other option. The Smith news is irrelevant to Tan, I assume that is why there was no RNS, unless of course they are all on their Christmas break!!!

Well Welll Well, the duck is still not dead. As for the Corrector- he is as bad as Leo3, another cryptic message I see. Whats the matter ? No mince pies.
See previous posts......... Nothing changed........ The Lunatics & Dinosaurs still run the Asylum...........
Whoevere was first out of bed must of been chuffed to find that they managed to purchase 9/- below the offered price. In reality they paid 29.9p on an outrageous spread of 26.25/30p Early bird and all that............
Seems folks got out of bed on the wrong side yesterday...lets hope they do better today.............this pattern is probably not going to change untill we recive some news, and with TAN records this could take a while yet...........
With such a large spread it seems to be at the mercy of which way out of the bed folk get every morning. And now we are in the silly season (when wild swings can take place on tiny volume)
Nice increase today, any news anyone, are we expecting a year end jump in revenues !?
