Lose their money :)
All the negative comments yet the fact everyone is still here means the simple conclusion that they believe the price will increase. In one hand leematt says it is going to 2s apparently still invested, yet quite happy to keep holding and lose money, bhargav says he hates the company and they are snakes yet still continues to hold a 7 figure holding and loose money. Hahaha like literally these posters hate the company so much and are quite happy to loose all their money. As if that is the case, it is actually laughable. Any sane person would just sell up and move on and invest in companies that they do think would do something and post there.
He can’t even remember his own stories about whether he has already bought or sold. And he’s relishing the fact that some have lost a decent sum over the years.
Got some mental health issues the troll
Ok mate then sell, if you have any and buy buy back when it hits 2p bird brain.
Brad and Orosur management have loss little with Orosur as they have barely any skin in the game, check out the driectirs invesetments and dealings on google and you will see.
Sotolo and Bhargav have sadly loss so so much money, six-figures plus, it makes me feel sick (and its not even my own money).
Everyday you guys prob visit this board for a hint of optmism and hope only to be dissapointed.
Truth is now even if Ororsur find a moonful of gold, your losses are sadly beyond recoverable. Its easy for me to say, but please move on, i hope you find the willpower to do so.
You have been totally and utterly screwed by orosur and its management, maybe if they had skin in the game and something to lose they would be better delivering the goods.
I really think the current share price and state is another cycle of rinse and repeat happening. On the back of a gold rise and recent decision on Anza rampers hope and think that Orosur which has a market cap of a peanut £10m can actually go it alone- they are off their heads.
Orosur will never ever deliver, they are lining nightmare and fairytale as we speak.
I can see the RNS being littered with negatives and this will sink the stock to 2p.
Orosur will then sit in this this 2-3p range for 12-18 months before the next fairytale is dreamed up to suck in all the newbies.
Brad and Orosur management have nothing invested in the company - until they invest and invest big i aint investing!
Nice 1 TJ , yes just checking st Geoges day on Tuesday thanx for the reminder, now that would be something if this share starts to boom on Tuesday, stranger things have happened before but omi is going north one way or another but if st George can help all the better, nice to see this bb on a positive footing again but seriously I don't think we seen anything yet, only upwards from here now me thinks, yes of course we will have a few days where sp goes down only to be expected if it's going north and bhargav and doormat taking their profits gla
Hi, TJ
I have looked through your past posts, and (speaking as a literary critic) they're a real pleasure to read. The difference between us, is that I'm too polite to denounce anyone as "mentally deranged" or "childish," perhaps because my own eccentricities are well-developed.
Best wishes
Sotolo's posts on Centamin, Tharisa and Hochschild are excellent, and well worth reading. But on the matter of OMI, I agree with Legal. It's all about market cycles and timing. And I think that Brad has done well, in difficult conditions. Newmont pulled the plug on the j.v. , not because Anza is garbage, but because (i) Colombian politics were adverse, and (ii) since the merger with Newcrest, Newmont has too many projects on its plate.
The only investment a buy and hold strategy works for, is an index tracker; that will carry you through a bear market into the next bull market with no problems; and you don't need to worry about it. I recommend it to Leematt.
Yeah Sotolo called it right massively, holding from £2 down to 2p. He’s sat on a bigger loss than anyone else here surely. Thes one who got it right sold on the several runs up to 40p plus last time. I think anyone who added substantially around 2p-5p will have called it right too. Leematt…. You checked his post history Bhargav… I personally think this time next week we’ll be 7p ish. Time will tell. Were all here to make money, no on wants to see anyone at a loss. Leematt is trying to influence people with negative bull, he’ll turn positive once he buys back in.
More deranged rantings from Bhargav I see. All doom and gloom again after posting the message below on Friday:
"I don't see that it will be any bad in a couple of weeks...far from it...I think 7-8p before the news is possible unlike any predictions to see 2 or 3 p".
I think you need to see a doctor as clearly you are suffering from some kind of psychological disorder where one minute you're positive the next you're negative. Perhaps you and Doormatt are the same person?
I know Brad George has been no saint to most of us recently but Tuesday is St George's Day, not a bad day to release the next RNS???
In all my 6 years here....Sotolo is the only person who called it right who's still here.
A very few who called it right too...sold and left.
In my opinion, as stupid, and warped it may sound...Leematt is on the ball imo, despite of me sadly still holding in 7 figs.
Rest of the bunch is just the Joe public of 80% mugs who our BoD is proud of to be in mugs campaign including myself.
Only little disagreement with Sotolo at this point is....Brad is not good salesman...
bug a snake charmer....he can whisper in ones ears to believe in anything .....
I'm bit busy right now, as I've decided to spend my time for something useful then spending a lot my time here of telegram group I was once proactive on.
More.... tomorrow!
Oh yes....please don't forget to click on the "recommend" button on bottom right...it's not worth an effort to say the least and it's for free 😂
What advice do we take from those who had opportunities to profit from this share when it went on that from 2p to above 40p, but didn't take that opportunity? Very little imho!
The market is all about cycles. There are times when the price goes up, as in the above period, and then times when it struggles, like in the last 18 months. You are meant to trade these cycles, not hug and hold through them. In fact, very few companies are worth holding through market cycles. And certainly not AIM juniors.
I think we are now at the beginning of another price cycle for OMI. Therefore, ALL we have to consider is whether, with gold at 2400, and OMI at 4p, we think it has the potential to multibag from here over the next 12-18 months. THAT's IT. That's the only calculation you need to make! Not what happened to LTH many moons ago, during a different market cycle.
Right now, IF you think OMI will or has a decent chance of going on a run like it has done before, then NOW is the time to take that opportunity. By leaving it too late, you will actually be failing to maximise that opportunity. So pay up or sit out - your choice entirely.
The RNS could land any day now as we approach end of April, so not long to make up your minds. GLA
Completely agree with that Chicken, Sotolo, who has been here longer than any here, can give opinion and advice worthy of taking on board. Although totally agree also with sharetrader, having been burnt with the company in the past, can lead to an understandably blinkered view of how the position of the company actually stands today, which in my opinion, is in a VERY good position
Leemutt......26 Mar 2024 22:40
"I can see this 5 bagging by end of April,
15p+ is a real possibility.
Brad has played a blinder with this. bought in heavily today - average at 4p"
Leemutt....28 Mar 2024 11:26
"Orosur has so so much better potential with just over 200m shares in issue and anza proven gold deposit mine for the taking.
Helium one is just a rubbish stock in my opinion.
With nearly four BILLION shares in issue. It's a complete joke.
Why have billions when you can have millions?"
Any newbies reading this guys drivel need to look at all of his posting history, a few positive posts, and then constantly bashing the very shares he has "invested". Only good things happing here with promised possible (most likely) positive news imminent from brad, gold on a rising trend, share price firming up nicely...why on earth would anyone constantly bash a share they have put money into, putting attention grabbing, extremely negative thread titles, when there hasn't even been any bad news??!!
Don't know what your game is mutt, but your posting history does not add up at all, not...at...all
Last time i engage with this obvious deramping fool
Anyone else with anything negative to say about OMI which has some substance, more than welcome, all genuine persons views, good or bad welcome
Yes leematt sounding bitter but I don't understand why when apparently they just joined...sounding more like a disgruntled long term holder. Sotolo I respect however and they bring a cautionary tale to buying in heavily to producers who lose their way, have high AISC's, can't get the grades, or are at the end of their mine life.
Sotolo, sorry you held through the transition from miner back to exploration company. That was some time ago. Good times are due again, this month has flown. The return of the keys to Anza are very close. Easy gains coming soon. Even Leematt know this he just wants a cheaper entry. He was predicting 15p only a couple of weeks ago, check his posting history. Obviously sold out and wants back in. Good luck all.
Sotolo
The mind really boggles with what you posted - I am really sorry to hear of your massive loss.
People often think whn a share like orosur dropped from £2 to £1 that the drop is done, but when in reality the drop ultimatley finished it was at 2p.
You lossed 6 figures and the chances of you getting of that back is zero - as you are prob well aware. Orosur would have to source a moonful of gold for you to recover your losses. Not gloating in any way and i am genuinely sorry fate has dealt you this hand.
Obviously whilst you have lossed so much money Orosur CEO and management have walked away with a good salary, with few share ownership in the company - no self sacrifice has been made by them.
And unlike you sotolo who may have had to sacrifice a nicer house, holidays, a dream car etc - they have spend lazy days in the sun on a boat in the med.
As an orosur share holder we must strive for performence related pay. find the gold get paid - if not take a menial salary - not the £210k our current ceo is on - complete joke!
Its a hard lesson to learn, i too have loss huge amounts. Shares can fall massively and then fall massively again, factor in diilution, placings and inflation. Well that money has simply been thrown away.
This time will be no different, people are hoping it will be - but over the last few years Orosur have delivered bugger all.
This is just a ramp session showing an uptick. in a few weeks empty words will be delivered and this will fall back to the 2p zone where it will rests for MONTHS and YEARS before the next ramping news elevates it again.
Rinse and Repeat all over.
Better to invest in something like central asian metals - company has no debt and ACTUALLY producing record amounts of the stuff.
Explorers like Orosur are dreamers and in reality less than 5% of these sort of company make it to the bigtime.
My own opinion, massive dreams, massive losses to be expected. Not investing a dime more !
Hi Sotolo, I always have respect for the comments of long term holders but I like to balance their views because they can become somewhat skewed as they tend to look at things through the lens of their own personal predicament and in your case it's through the lens of someone who is nursing a six figure loss and buying in as high as £2. The fact you are lamenting about a time when gold was dropping whilst the Uruguay costs were increasing harps back to a time albeit a good history lesson, which has no real bearing on current events considering Uruguay is more or less off the books and gold is at all time highs. There is always the possibility that your present thinking and judgements are influenced from the perspective of having a large loss tied up since at least 2005. I therefore respectfully take your comments on board but in the context of reflecting your own personal situation.
Sotolo it is an unfair comparison buying in the pounds and buying at sub 5p. Of course one would be bitter if they bought at those prices and held/averaged down all that time and it kept dropping. I also don't think it is fair to lump Brad into the Uruguayan disaster. You are right though finance will be key in the future depending on their plans but it's just about to come out of c&m. For all we know there is already finance lined up. Anyhow they have some money to prove Pepas is open in the other direction and ar finally moving forward after a limbo of nearly 18 months.
I have been here considerably longer, I bought at over £2 in 2005, sadly kept averaging down over the years and sadly the mine in Uruguay costs kept rising faster than gold price and in end failed leaving it with some Colombian exploration that v experienced Newmont Agnico gave up on. Salazar and then Brad have destroyed value while Brad has amazingly succeeded in getting more money in to keep running the company, he is quite good as a salesman but ultimately would need to raise a lot to get this in a position to sell Anza etc to miners again. In my view the share does have one point, it has given me an available capital loss in six figures, so I keep the shares for when I need that.
I’m expecting 50p-£1 sp medium term. And this could be cheap with what gold is going to over the next few years.
Gold soon to be the only game in town as fiat is diluted to its death. Gold backed currency is coming back even if it’s crypto tech eventually its backbone will be Gold.
Yes chicken good post, I agree could a big week even a big may month, of course we shall see but so much to look forward to, shackles are now off and Brad the man in complete charge, after playing second fiddle to the big boys, omi in control again, let's just wait for that rns to land but I fear when it lands this may fly out of control, so I have some funds available to ad to bring my average down, so don't mind if it slips a tad early doors , let's see but exciting times for sure gla.
Good post Chicken agree on what you say. I think we will have at least 5 proven areas over next few years and yes we will need the raises to fund more drilling but can do it on cheap which will attract other companies interests.
Definitely gold silver in bull run now lots people saying 3,000 gold by end of year a strong possibility and 4,000 next year and maybe 6,000 2026 time will time.
Off on holiday today Majorca here Im heading to mountains on bike yearly trip so I think this week and next few there will be lots of blue days.
Omi have definitely got a strong very strong tailwind Id call it a bloody gale coming months and next years. Good luck to all.
Great post Chicken. To be honest, I'm not thinking too far ahead though, and just want to ride this bull run in gold and find a junior goldie with multibagger potential. I can't think of many better goldies on AIM than OMI. And 4p is an excellent price to get into a stock which has every chance of hitting 20p+ in 2024. We have cleared a lot of overhang already, and once MM are ready to let this go, it is likely to move through the gears very quickly.
We are coming up to the period where news could land any day now. Exciting times once again. GLA
How the last month has went quickly and now we find ourselves approaching the end of April. Watched the Collective presentation and if Orosur could even be a tenth of that company then we could be on to a winner. Interestingly within the presentation included useful info regarding mining licences/ permits that have been issued in the last year on Colombia and in Ari's opinion the South American/ Colombian space moving forward will be leading on critical minerals. Worth noting a mining company has taken 10pc of Collective and remain anonymous, under the reporting levels. So there is interest in good companies and money to be invested in Colombian mining space. It is also worth noting that Collective's plan isn't too turn there project into a mine, it's to prove the concept and sell it on to a company that will turn it on to a mine. Regardless of what people think of Brad/ Louis and the way things have went since C&M, if Orosur are going to be calling the shots and can prove that Pepas was drilled in the wrong direction then it doesn't matter how much you think they are clowns, Anza will have not just one but two proven areas (one looking likely open pit and the other under ground) and other mining companies/ investors will take note, especially as these areas aren't really what Anza is about (more bonus areas) and in the future could have 4 or 5 proven areas. Most investors here just want to see the company moving forward and the share price rise off the back of good work and strong news flow. Of course we need to see them back in control, the drill plan, financing arrangements and the company strategy moving forward. This is not a perfect company, but that is why it's at this mcap. However sensible targets and share prices near term can certainly be achieved and more outlandish ones can also be achieved if all the ducks line up and a few bonuses thrown in for good measure. This week might start to see a real flurry of activity. Good luck all :)
