theres nowt we can do about that pal
Not sure how long we can keep the dialogue going before they take us off LSE
I am keeping mine - Just for posterity, even if they're worthless, it will encourage me to keep checking up on MAX in the future, see what happened to it!! Hope it comes back to re-list, you never know in this game - I won't stake my mortgage on it, but if/when that happens, I expect to see Oil-S back and still running it down!! :)
if the Deal with AGR goes through, they will make a success of the company, expecially when the oil price picks up, and if they finish the hole. But, the question is, will AGR syphon everything off into there own pockets/companies, or would they do the honest thing and actually relist. I know nothing about this mob so can't speculate about them directly, however i suspect there are more dishonest people in the world than honest. But as i said before, keep your shares do not sell for a pittance, anything could happen (no matter how unlikely), if you need the capital loss, sell it to one of your kids.
In a word, incompetence.
I thing i can't get my head round is why did nur 1 cost 50 mill plus when roxi down the road can drill a similar hole for 11 mill and side track it for 3 mill. Have we been ripped off or did the old board embezzle some of the money. Answers on a postcard?????
I truly believe we will re-list some time in the future. This could be three years plus down the line, if we are lucky it could be a lot sooner. The Company is still operating and can quite easily ramp up to 5,000 bpd. The receivers haven't been called in. AGR may own 60% and hopefully they will use their majority to weed out the dead meat from Max's heirarchy, leaving a BoD focussed on turning this around. Until I am told otherwise, I will remain positive about the future and my investment.
Coggy any thoughts on this now ?
I would not sell anything until the restructuring takes place and see in if NUR 1 is to be drilled again.
That's a good Idea if you have an account with Vanguard. Be well Hondo
It sound like you have a severe case of man flu! Commiserations from all male contributors on this board. I'm afraid females just don't appreciate how serious a condition this is.
Hondo I wonder if I open an account with the same broker you use. They would probably do it for a fee.
I'm out sick from work. I will check how to do this as soon as the elephant quits sitting on my chest. At least that's how this flu feels.
The pink symbol is MXPTF. See my previous post. Hondo
Rhertig, I have several million shares of this dog. If you can arrange for a a US broker to bid for them in the pink sheets in the US, I will try to arrange for my broker, Vanguard, to sell them to you. $100 per 100,000 would be fine. I need the tax loss. If interested, talk to your broker and have them bid for as much as 2,500,000 at .001 cent per share. Let me know when and I'll do what I can to sell what I have to you. That is now--not in the future. Hondo
Thanks ivorsoreass. To be honest, I do have under 2 million shares in this company however I guess some people may have more. Wish everyone the best of luck ! hope everything goes well.
I agree if I did my math right it's about 1/3 what AGE is paying if the deal goes through.
wouldnt advise anyone to sell any shares at that level, unless you are really desperate for the cash, for that amount its better kept in as a punt
Welcome to the board, though I'm not sure how long the board will remain active. I think LSE will close the board down now we are out of AIM. Nice to see your positive attitude though. Cheers.
Hey from the state's. You still own the same shares you did last week. When the AGR deal completes and the legal stuff is done they will trade again. Once I find out how to transfer shares I'll buy yours if you want the capital loss for tax purposes. Somewhere in the range of $100 US per 100,000 shares. I would suggest you just hold them. If you have at least 100,000 let me know. This is my first post on here I'm normally on the US boards.
well, you never know what might happen in the future, but i personally wont be holding my breath
Thanks ivorsoreass. So in other words we have lost everything -_-"
i don't think the company will want them back, you will have to sell them privatley, but i would think you will struggle, unless you own a decent chunk of the company
Thanks Ivorsoreass, Would we be able to sell the shares back to the company? or do we have to find someone to buy our shares privately?
the company is still trading, however it is now a private company, rather than a public company, they are no longer trading on a stock market. the value of the shares are not based on a bid/ask basis, it is based on what someone will pay you for them. Basically it is the same as if you where given 0.1 percent of the family business
