"Prioritising local support when this has always been the problem in the first place...even worse"
Remember, they DID vote in favour of granting land access. I presume that is a binding vote?
"Funds until July..oops MB shouldn't have said that."
Buck couldn't not mention it. It was in the "going concern" paragraph in the annual accounts, so a legal requirement.
Nothing is connected to the elections please stop losing your pants over something your just guessing now, did you get told by this by anyone?
Operations have been approved for matd just needs land use agreement drawn up and signed and not being held up by anything other then adminstrative reasons
AGM will hopefully clear this up, I'm away on holiday but will take my laptop with me and try jump on
Delay till election or further..not good
Prioritising local support when this has always been the problem in the first place...even worse
Funds until July..oops MB shouldn't have said that.
No 'headline act' such as V1 or multi well campaign to sell to market...this is a big problem.
I was hoping good news followed by a placing. Not the other way around. If it comes before any big news it can only be at an eye popping discount in my view. I hope something comes before he is forced to push the nuclear button.
I guess there is no more question left to be answered in AGM!
The so called activists seems to me all staged.
Unfortunately there is not a proper schedule plan.
Doc - he is not a wise Owl - he is bird brain!
And as a 'backstop' there's a legal precedent for Regional Governors being forced to change their policies RE land use and Oil exploration rights.
And elections cut both ways if the re-elected Governor can be vetoed by Central Government.
You'd think he'd have to sign prior to re-election to be certain of being approved subsequently by the Mongolian Government?
Biggest concern for me in today’s RNS (and there are a few) is talking of potential legal recourse if central government don’t play ball. That’s a huge statement to make, especially to the MG, and the first time in my time here that anything like that has being mentioned. It also shows that MATD are concerned no matter what they do, there’s always another hurdle to jump.
As usual, no humility from WOS for getting it catastrophically wrong and criticising those who weren’t so positive.
My thoughts on where we go from here? I don’t expect anything now until after the elections, which MB seems to be warning us of with this:
“However, with 2024 parliamentary elections looming and central government moving slowly…”
If this is the case, a raise is surely on the cards but it sends a shiver down my spine to think at what price. The previous raise was done with the SP at 5p+ and lots of positive sentiment.
Activists need popular support.
The local community isn't large and they appear to set great store by their traditional herding lifestyle and the herders have accepted the compensation and haven't been paid yet. Local politicians might be keen to keep them onside?
The new National Wealth Fund will become increasing important as it grows in size and its importance to the general population becomes apparent. Electorates tend to vote for Politicians and policies that are going to make them richer.
And the old story of a hard Mongolian Winter, fuel shortages and the need to become less dependent of foreign supplies, new Refinery and of course the income/revenue that oil will produce.
The underlying forces here are too strong to be resisted and it will happen.
Hopefully this year.
What’s the point of being invested in this waste of a company - everytime there’s another hurdle to get over - and for someone to spend so much time and effort on this - WOS, why???
It’s becoming a junk share very fast.
I’ve gone after 10 years. I know the pattern. Defo raise coming soon. Best move I made was taking £10k at 7 pence. Should have sold £30k that day!!!
This is doing nothing this year for sure.
I’ll get back in at 1.2 p
The activists conveniently reappear at certain times. This time when the local soum voted in favour of supporting PM's land access. They then cyber bully everyone, filming, naming and putting their names and contact details on fb. Activities which are entirely illegal in any other country. This is why the land access hasn't been signed off. A weak show of police pulling them off this vehicle and politely asking them to move along whilst the two women scream like banshees. No other discernible actors except a load of city kids 'liking and commenting on fb.
How can the powers that be not get a grip on this beggars belief!
Ss i can not arrange a fundraise for them... they will or will not simple...
I think they will and i think it will be announced coming monday. Why?
I have no inside at all. So just trying to connect some dots.
I have already shown the numbers. Why monday? That is based on AGM logistics given. Questions need to be in 48 hours before AGM..
Just a guess
After 5 years we still get the same cr ap ppppp.
Proff if you manage to help smash this down to 1.75 I will buy again .
Hopefully get my loss back.
Watching for now
It sounds stupid that 3 the so called activists can do what they want and change the course of important national project unless they want to!
MB should start to be loud and clear rather than blood ddddsyyyy accept what they say.
That is seriously weakness of the so called CEO. It is a shame.
With respect I don't agree Professional. It is personal with the Dornod Governor.
I am also now convinced that the activists are paid by him.
How can three well fed and well manicured individuals survive living in very nice city apartments but with no discernible job to pay for it or stopping them causing mayhem many miles from home at the drop of a hat? Then the fb storyline of them 'storming their way in' to the governor's office, resulting in a professional looking televised interview in response? Completely staged imo!
How can the government allow one man, operating at a lower level to government, to thwart their will?
I have said before that i do not think this is the case. They use him as a decoy. The new way again a means to delay further . Imho
I think MB see that as well and it makes sense (for company not shareholders) to go for renewables. He will need capital. Imho
Mr Wise Owl or Bird Brain? Guess we now have our answer...Bird Brain!!!
The single positive in the RNS
The Ministry for Economic Development, which is in charge of stimulating foreign investment in Mongolia has been very active on this issue and is preparing a submission to Cabinet to attempt to remove the obstacles to completing the process.
How can the government allow one man, operating at a lower level to government, to thwart their will?
Master, I agree. I wish we could get rid of MB. Useless he is.
Exactly, now most would not expect any news for the next 2-3month.
People have been left holding the bags for a bit
Well at least you will have something to do for the next 3 years BP and it's a relatively inexpensive hobby for you as key boards last a long time. Don't forget you are much loved on this BB for your special qualities, the special one!
In future YEARS..
.sounds hopeful
CJ i am going to guess doubling of shares at 1.75.
Imho
