Gambitxjs - you are correct news is coming and I tried to give a clear picture earlier.
People need to understand that the mining process is not a production line like building cars. It is effected by extreme wear and tear and extracting the mineral although an exact process is not guaranteed what will come. You should read Ophidians article on the run of mine on the Bushveld Perspective.
News is coming and some of it will lift the price well above anything seen yet. You can’t just expect the BoD to say just what you want because you want the price to rise. This company needs every piece in place, piece by piece. Then it will reach the level every investor wants to see.
This company will deliver. That is very clear.
Cheers all. RK
You can be sure the board are working extremely hard behind the scenes to grow the business and deliver value to shareholders. It's not for them to worry about short-term price fluctuations, particularly considering their outstanding achievements in that regard over the past two years.
Of course it's frustrating for those that bought late 40s, but ask yourself why you bought - because the SP was going crazy or fundamentals? If it's fundamentals, nothing's changed so what's the problem? The only thing that's changed is you're not prepared to watch this play out and wait for your (likely substantial) profit.
Daisan, a lot of the large trades are at bid, RSPs not taking these imo
The Lemur news appeared a couple of days later
Agreed, the BoD's main job is to manage the Vametco plant/production improvements, manage the BE growth items, the financing, and get all the permits, licenses, etc needed for growing annual production to 10000mtv. The share price will go wherever it goes, but the BoD should focus on what it can control.
As for the money running out, I suggest espaol reads the ARC analyst report on the BMN website as it contains a few unpalatable truths for this/her assertion. For example, using an estimated 3000mtv production and $80/kgV price, ARC assess that for 2019 BMN will make from Vametco alone:
- revenue £184m (yes UK Pounds, not US dollars)
- operating profit £113m
- net profit £80m
- attributable net profit after minority considerations £58m
- EBITDA 117m
- EBITDA margin 64%
- Free Cash Flow £73m
All for an mcap of approx £350m or a share price of just 33p/share. A stunningly cheap bargain buy price.
Wui they did actually say they were hoping to get divi news out by the end of last year and then Chika said I believe in December in the next few months and emailed RichKen last week to say some news would be the released shortly so watch this space!!
I don't want them to put out a statement to please shortermers, I want them to put a statement out to please me.There has been very little good news RÑS,d over the last 6 month. All we have had is missed targets. We were promised meat on the bones of B/E didn't get it.We were promised the divi news before Xmas never got it.Missed our vametco guidance(by very little). The board need to stand up and be counted in times like this.We need something to stop this slide
You would have to be a serious loony toon to short this now, This will hit broker target shortly no question :-)
Daisan et al. fair enough, I just get weary with every sp drop being a short attack. I struggle to see the psychological difference between a sold borrowed stock and a sold owned stock. Both believe the price will go lower and one will, and one may, buy back.
Large volatility on AIM is par for the course. We are circa 35% down from the all time high, but the last times we bull-ran we did what 70+%.
Lets also remember that SPA's targets have been met and exceeded no more than 4 months from pronouncements... so we have until March to make 87 and that is not out of the question.
Solid Q1 figures, Confirmation of Eskom tests, Brownfield announcement, Solid 2018 accounts, solid (and believable) statements about 2019 production ... its all there.
Let the pesky vermin in short trousers have their fun for 10 mins !
Wul_1976. I respectfully disagree, I don't want them putting out pointless statements just to try and please any short termers. These prices are a blessing for those with funds, enjoy it while it lasts. The company will make announcements as and when necessary. GL
I remember buying at 5.7 then over period of time dropped to under 2 so staying the course and not to be frightend out to sell patience will be rewarded FUNDAMENTALS haven't got worse only got better money rolling in :-)
Iv said it before and I,ll say it again.Im very disapointed in fortune and the board for not taking any action to try and halt this slide. They must be sitting on a bit of something to put a stop to this.
Daisan I think shorting at 40p may have been a better choice in hindsight. Quite a bit more risky at this share price.
Indeed, he has now stated that he has shorted. Believe him or not, it makes little difference!
Normally I would agree 1onic but there is someone on ADVFN who indicated that he would short if the bid went to 33p. Of course I understand that he may be economical with the truth and these may just be sells (stop loss?) but it is at least something to be considered.
1onic - It is possible to short on Spreadex and other platforms. 'Guff' may be your opinion but respectfully it is not mine.
Guff re shorters
I've manually tracked all the buys and sells today (conservatively) and here is what I see:
buys 1.4m
sells 1.3m
However, there is almost certainly another short attack going on today - I see at least 200k net sells for larger volumes excluding fatbanker. What appears to be happening is that some of those who shorted when the sp was a bit higher (high 30p's) are getting out but there some new shorters also appearing. In addition, given that buys exceed sells at 15:14, the sp has dropped quite a bit which to me indicates that there is more background selling going on that has not yet been declared, possibly from our tame seller. We are close to the equilibrium point where shorters have to buy back in and when that happens the sp will rise quickly. If I had a crystal ball I'd guess when this could happen but I don't. Instead I have topped up this morning in the 33's and this afternoon in the 32's. All IMHO.
