Touched a nerve?
Read the RNS…..another exercise in ambiguity. It doesn’t say in what quantity….
If my research is that poor, how come no one in the Uber camp ever comes up with a credible counterpoint….ok, you tried, but have failed miserably…..saying “I’ve seen some pictures on the company website” or whatever isn’t really valid comment…..how about you say something like “I hear what you say, but actually, in independent tests, X kg of ammonia was put in, and you of H2 came out, it cost Y kw to do it…..” call me lazy if you like, but only after you’ve done the proper research needed to de bunk my assertions…do my questions have a bias? No, I say it simply as I see it and invite valid counterpoint…
What's the opposite of Boiiinng

“Is the ammonia cracker actually a thing yet, or simply a proof of concept”?
Rapid research took me to . . . . . the AFC website and a video of the cracker test site. Also AFC people talking about the next stages of work e.g a containerised solution for customer sites including marine propulsion.
The hardware in the video is certainly not a ‘laboratory model’. In addition, RNS 23 March 2023 states ‘(This) launch follows extensive cracker reactor validation testing over the past two years and completed in March at the Company's UK test facilities’. Hence the lab work and ‘proof of concept’ took two years and was finished one year ago.
So does the kit do what it is designed to? The UK National Physical Laboratory (NPL) say that it does, RNS 23 Oct 2023, and that it delivered the ISO 14687:2019 standard of hydrogen purity. This covers "ammonia to power" applications, stationary or maritime, and cracked ammonia in heavy vehicles and buses. Accepting that the NPL are neither stupid nor liars; we have highly credible verification.
The same RNS states that a Letter of Intent has been signed with trading arm of large European energy company to market cracker adoption. UK companies are not allowed to mislead with blatant lies on RNS. Hence, we know that someone in the hydrogen business has had their people crawl all over this kit and judge it to be technically credible and ie credible due diligence on the process and outputs.
If it had not been, they would not have signed a letter of intent and would have walked away. Hence, we have a customer-side verification of the core technology as credible and will be suitable for delivery to their customers.
Big and experienced companies, do not risk their market reputation readily or lightly. Hence, we now have credible market-side verification of the product.
RNS of 26 Jan 2024 advises a contract for Maritime Ammonia Cracker and Combustion Engine Integration Trials including:
- a major marine engine manufacturer
- specialist injectors and control valve maker
- two shipping companies
- University of Nottingham - as independent evaluators
- UK government – as funders.
These are credible organisations who recognise “when a cracker is actually a thing yet!”.
So, I look at your questions and conclude that:
You are lazy fail to do even basic research.
Your questions have an explicit bias that avoids all facts that are inconvenient to your narrative.
You are not as clever as you would like to think you are and most of this board recognises the difference between credible questions and gobby yahoo.
Have a good day.
Down 6% on Tradegate! Clearly market expectations of AFC successfully commercialising, are low.
That's not true though is it?.
What possible reason is there for Bond to continue as CEO? The man has simply failed on all fronts.
I would be talking up myself “FOR YOU” if I was about to go for a “CASH CALL”
Worth a read of the article below. It's about how undervalued UK listed companies are. We know the AFC Energy board believe the company is very undervalued and that they are doing a Capital Markets Event to try and fix it, FOR US, hence it's good to understand it's not anything specific to AFC, it's the market as a whole.
INVESTMENT UPDATE: THE NON-PATRIOTIC CASE FOR UK EQUITIES
Pessimism about UK equities is widely held. If it’s based on misconceptions, this could be opening up an opportunity.

What AFC purveyed clearly to all investors on the recent IMC meeting is that:
1) AFC Energy is SIGNIFICANTLY UNDERVALUED.
2) The AFC Energy broker forecasts do not include a penny for the 200kW system
3) The AFC Energy Ammonia Cracker is, according to Ammonia Industry experts, worth much more than the current Market Capitalisation of AFC Energy.
I fully expect AFC Energy to reiterate these major points and many more at the AGM, and especially so at the Capital Markets Event where they can be even more open about the valuation as they will be dealing solely with 'sophisticated investors' at that event.
PI's not taking advantage of what they were told is their prerogative, but IMVHO will lead to them losing out to the big money that will hoover up any loose stock.

Hahaha!
as if.........
mcstock
i'm sure that the company will reiterate all you say.....so that's fine, just because les says it's jam tomorrow again, we can believe him?
ask yourself the following
1. the company is undervalued....by whom? obviously not the market, because the share is going down faster than a **** in an apple bobbing contest.
2. why have the forecasts not included anyting for the 200kw unit? the abb thing was such a big deal, and all of the apologists were touting the great relationship with abb as the excuse for the share giveaway. might the non inclusion of the 200kw units in the sales projections have something to do with the fact that the deal has gone cold, and performance milestones not been met?
3. is the ammonia cracker actually a thing yet, or simply a proof of concept? you simply don't know, and the caveat on any perceived value needs to be "if it works"
4. your last statement is a clear incitement for pi's to buy in....that, in anyone's book is a ramp...shame on you.....

About time for a "Bounce" isn't it?
Contsructive
"The speedyhire Units are being built & the first one as already been delivered, as you well know"
Oh, of course, there are photos all over the place showing vast numbers of operatives busily putting units together...but there aren't, are there? and one unit delivered? that equates to about 0.5 percent of the contract total, assuming that the capex is intended to be remotely commercially viable.....
"The Hydrogen cracker has been built & working for awhile now & plenty of large companies are coming to see it in operation every single week. ( as you well know )."
Where have you seen anything to suggest that its anything other than a small scale lab prototype? Those with long memories will recall that we had the same thing with fuel cells a few years ago, where a lab prototype apparently worked, but when attempts were made to scale it up, it wasn't viable.
"ABB unit is abit behind schedule & being built & tested at this moment followed by CE marking. ( as you well know.)"
So far "a bit behind" that the company hasn't been able to reckognise any income from the contract for 12 months, and have effectively stated that they have no intention of doing so.
"So stop spouting your absolute crap on this board, your just embarrassing your sad self with your blatent lies"
Just because the statements don't fit your narrative doesn't mean that they are doo doo or lies. If you honestly believe that they are, then please feel free to support your argument with those things that are called....oh, what is it....facts....
It's what him and Daz/Garonne are paid to do.
From RNS 07/04/22
"The first Power Tower EV will be on display at the Company's Annual General Meeting this morning alongside the Power Tower launched last month."
Well, that went well, didn't it?

Your alter ego may well be a shareholder……
AGM’s gonna be great!
You can just imagine it…..well, it’s like this….we haven’t generated anything by way of reckonable income out of the ABB deal in 12 months, they haven’t said they’re gonna buy anything (otherwise we’d have included it in our fantastic (literally) sales forecast ) we’ve got a lab prototype cracker that will take years to develop, and we don’t even know us ammonia is actually a cost effective storage / transportation medium, we’ve got a deal with Speedy, but we can’t tell you what the terms are (but we haven’t said whether any units are in the process of construction yet) and the market doesn’t really buy into all of this spin…..never mind, another year, another £600k…….”
And the response from the Uber acolytes (the only ones dumb enough to waste time actually going)
“All hail the Adam……All hail the Adam…..All hail the Adam….”
Spoken like a long term shareholder as ever.
Looks like no pre AGM news. Haggis is wrong again. Bond clearly has nothing to offer the market. Tomorrow will be uncomfortable for AFC I'm sure. I mean, you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
