Ormonde Mining PLC - Dublin-based natural resources company with assets in Newfoundland and Scotland - Says its 36%-owned investee TRU Precious Metals Corp intends to carry out an exploration project this spring and summer at its Golden Rose project in Newfoundland. Exploration will focus on assessing the critical minerals potential associated with the deposit-bearing Cape Ray-Valentine Lake Shear Zone. Executive Chair Brian Timmons says: "Not only does Golden Rose have high-grade gold discoveries along the same structures as nearby deposits, but it is also highly prospective for copper and other critical minerals. With a number of large gold companies seeking to diversify their exposure through copper, we believe this multi-mineral resource focus will make Golden Rose even more attractive for M&A in the future."
For gold and perhaps nickel. The Tru position is gaining value weekly. The Peak position we know little about. Whether we ORM holders stand to gain depends on ORM management not repeating abject failure to deliver as flunda has said.
I think cash should be around €1m less outgoings with a further €1m to come from la zarza deferred consideration.
Presumably ORM will participate in PN's funding rounds this year.
The sharp rise in gold price should also continue to benefit Golden Rose/TRU.
The ORM mcap is £1.18m, less than the €2m cash figure, and nothing re PN or the TRU shareholding (market value approx £900k).
So ORM's a bargain on one analysis. Both projects look good to me, but it's got to be weighed against ORM's history of abject failure to deliver and value destruction. They really do have the reverse midas touch.
Curious then that Ormonde have not announced anything, given decent results are now public and there is talk of increased resource.
I can only phone H&L to trade no online dealing.
I can only phone H&L to trade no online dealing.
Bought these many moons ago through Halifax share dealing.
Can no longer trade through them. Where and how can I transfer these shares so I can sell up and move on
Thanks in advance for any advice
There's a March presentation re Rodburn on Peak's website. Looks like a decent enough project. Raises expected this year to fund next stages.
Yep.
Might buy a few if I can be bothered to pick the phone up. No need of selling at these levels.
Anyone here still holding?
Ormonde terrible stock
Why not, they are buying next door. Live in hope.
Yes I'm just holding in the bottom drawer. No great expectations but you never know.
Fantasy land, but how about Calibre acquiring TRU, and Rio Tinto returning to Rodburn after 50 years to JV with Peak?!
Good find Flundra. That looks really positive . Feel a wee bit better now.Still a long way to go though.
Presentation re Rodburn on Peak Nickels website.

This was the response i got after contacting Orm.
While we share your frustration with the share price (stock market conditions have affected most small cap mineral exploration companies severely), Ormonde’s board / technical advisers believe the value creation potential of the portfolio to be compelling and the potential returns are only greater from these levels.
Ormonde believes TRU’s Golden Rose project, given its location, is of the quality that has the potential, in due course, to attract major investors/industrial partners to help take it forward. An example of the kind of interest is TRU’s neighbour in Newfoundland, Marathon Gold, which has just been acquired for CA$345m by Calibre Mining. Calibre Mining has then proceeded to stake new claims directly flanking Golden Rose. The project is undoubtedly at the centre of the next potential Tier 1 gold producing region – and Ormonde’s shareholders are exposed to this potential.
Ormonde also owns 20% of Peak Nickel which is engaged in exploration at the Rodburn Nickel Project in NE Scotland. Ormonde’s technical team is very positive on the geological prospectivity of the project and looks forward to updating investors as and when appropriate.
The Ormonde team strongly believes the company provides unique exposure to very worthwhile upside potential without excessive risk. The underlying opportunity of the investee companies is compelling and will, the board believes, be reflected in due course.
Kind regards
Fiona – on behalf of Ormonde
Is there any point in holding this. no communication next to no trades but constantly drops.

Yes and yes. They always show the lowest bid and when it goes off LSE its usually worse. Won't necessarily be the quote you get should you want to sell though.
I'm holding to see what they find, may as well...!
Anyone here use Hargreaves for trading. They are showing the SP at 0.10p in my account. Surely this is wrong.
Ormonde Mining PLC - holds stakes in Toronto-listed gold and copper explorer Tru Precious Metals Corp, which has a project in Newfoundland, Canada, and in battery metals explorer Peak Nickel Ltd - Notes an announcement by its 36.2%-owned investee company, TRU Precious Metals, which is exploring for gold and copper in the highly prospective Central Newfoundland Gold Belt in Canada, of significant assay results from its fall season bedrock sampling programme. TRU announces further gold and copper results from additional prospecting and bedrock sampling conducted on its Golden Rose project. Brian Timmons, executive chair, says: "We are encouraged by these latest bedrock sample assay results from Golden Rose. These reinforce our belief in the potential for Newfoundland to emerge as the next global Tier 1 gold producing region."
All we know is that Brian Timmons resigned from the Peak Nickel board in September so we are no longer represented there.
I wonder how ORM fared at the Aquis Showcase event today. BGT style complete with golden buzzer apparently.
And does anyone know anything about Peak Minerals btw. Battery metals but what/where etc? I don't think we've been told anything.
Must have been impressive
