Definition of 'Scenario Analysis'

An analysis of the change in NPV brought about by the simultaneous change in a number of key inputs to an NPV analysis. Typically a worst case scenario, when all the changes in variables are worsening, and a best case scenario, when all the variable changes are positive, are calculated.
