Update on disposal of Charles Stanley Financial Solutions
In line with its strategy to focus on wealth management services, Charles Stanley announces that it has exchanged contracts for the sale of its wholly owned subsidiary, Charles Stanley Financial Solutions Limited, to its Management for £2.0 million. For the year ended 31 March 2015 Charles Stanley Financial Solutions reported a trading loss before tax of £0.2 million and it is anticipated that a further book loss of approximately £0.4 million will arise on sale of the business. Completion is subject to FCA approval
