TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Company hereby notifies you that on 27 May 2011 it transferred 16,344 Ordinary shares held in Treasury to four participants (non-PDMRs) to satisfy the maturity exercise of options at 98p per share under the Hays plc UK and International Sharesave Schemes.
Following this transfer, Hays plc holds 79,858,259 Ordinary shares in Treasury. The number of shares in issue is 1,384,238,307 (excluding treasury shares).
