British Smaller Companies VCT PLC22 December 2006 British Smaller Companies VCT plc ("the Company") Voting Rights and Capital In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6, theCompany notifies the market of the following: The Company's issued share capital consists of 15,621,364 Ordinary Shares withvoting rights and 1,258,676 C shares with voting rights. Therefore, the totalnumber of voting rights is 16,880,040. The above figure (16,880,040) may be used by shareholders as the denominator forthe calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notifytheir interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA'sDisclosure and Transparency Rules.
