Transaction in Own Shares
Tate & Lyle PLC (the "Company") announces that on 26 June 2012 it transferred at nil cost 15,950 ordinary shares in the Company for the purpose of satisfying exercises under the Tate & Lyle 2003 Performance Share Plan. These shares were previously held in Treasury.
Following the above transfer, the Company holds 87,919 ordinary shares in Treasury and has 468,078,246 ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
