Caledonia Investments plc ("Caledonia") announces that on 20 December 2012 it purchased 31,581 of its own ordinary shares of 5p each at an average price of 1536.14 pence per share. The purchased shares will be cancelled.

Following the above purchase of shares, Caledonia's issued share capital includes 56,639,823 ordinary shares of 5p each with voting rights.
