Transaction in Own Shares
Tate & Lyle PLC (the "Company") announces that on 11 May 2012 it transferred at nil cost 6,615 ordinary shares in the Company for the purpose of satisfying exercises under the Tate & Lyle Group Bonus Plan 2011. These shares were previously held in Treasury.
Following the above transfer, the Company holds 2,514,012 ordinary shares in Treasury and has 465,646,507 ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury shares).
