Tiger Resource Finance PLC16 July 2007 Tiger Resource Finance p.l.c. Transaction in Own Shares Tiger Resource Finance plc ("Tiger" or the "Company") announces that on 13 July2007, the Company purchased 16,900,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p each in the issuedshare capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") at a price of 4.20 pence perOrdinary Share. These Ordinary Shares are to be held as treasury stock. Following the above purchase, the Company holds 27,250,000 Ordinary Shares intreasury and the total issued share capital of the Company less treasury sharesis 174,821,939 ordinary shares with one vote per ordinary share. Accordingly,the total number of voting rights in Tiger is 174,821,939. This purchase was made pursuant to the authority granted by shareholders at theCompany's Annual General Meeting held on 25 June 2006. To date 27,250,000 shareshave been repurchased under this authority.
