Close Brothers Dev VCT PLC26 October 2006 CLOSE BROTHERS DEVELOPMENT VCT PLC Close Brothers Development VCT PLC announces that on 26 October 2006 itpurchased, to be held in treasury, 45,883 Ordinary Shares (representing 0.3% ofthe Ordinary Share capital) at a price of 87p per Ordinary Share. Following the purchase of the 45,883 Ordinary Shares, the total number oftreasury shares held by the Company will be 206,400 Ordinary Shares and 121,715C Shares.
