Walker Greenbank PLC17 January 2008 For immediate release 17 January 2008 WALKER GREENBANK PLC ("Walker Greenbank" or "the Company") Transaction in own shares and Directors' Dealings and Total Voting Rights Walker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the designer, manufacturer and distributor offurnishing fabrics and wallpapers whose international brands include Sanderson,Morris & Co, Harlequin and Zoffany, announces that on 16 January 2008 it made onmarket purchases into treasury of 700,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in theCompany ("Ordinary Shares") at 42.25 p per Ordinary Share. It is intended that these Ordinary Shares will be used to satisfy conditionalawards made under the Company's Long Term Incentive Plan ("LTIP") in May 2007. Following this transaction Walker Greenbank's issued ordinary share capital withvoting rights consists of 59,006,162 Ordinary Shares of which 700,000 OrdinaryShares are held in treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in, andthe figure to be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations bywhich they will determine whether they are required to notify their interest inWalker Greenbank PLC under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency rules, is58,306,162 Ordinary Shares. The effect of purchasing the above Ordinary Shares is anticipated to be earningsenhancing in that it will remove the requirement for the future issue of thatnumber of new Ordinary Shares to satisfy awards under the LTIP.
