Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules' ongoing disclosure requirements for issuers, we would like to notify the market of the following:

As at 30 June 2008 the Company's issued share capital consists of 327,800,000 ordinary shares of which 24,426,824 are held in Treasury.

Therefore, the total number of shares with voting rights in the Company is 303,373,176.

The above figure can be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which to determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
