Umeco plc - Total voting rights

In conformity with the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, Umeco plc confirms that its capital as at 30 April 2012 consisted of 48,493,870 ordinary shares with each share carrying a right to one vote. Umeco plc does not hold any ordinary shares in Treasury.

The total number of voting rights in Umeco plc is 48,493,870. This figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Umeco plc under the Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
