The pilot site www.vets.tv went live at theBritish Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress. Ten Alps progress in Online TV Ten Alps is pioneering similar sector-specific online TV propositions across its740-strong base of contract-published titles. Ten Alps has a 75% interest in the media consortium behind the professionalonline TV market-leading Teachers TV channel, which has just won a new contractfor the next five years. Ten Alps runs Kent TV, the only fully localauthority-funded service of its kind in the UK, and has Public TV, which is a 14channel B2B online TV service. "Ten Alps provided publishing services to the BVA and online TV was a naturalnext step," said Alex Connock, Ten Alps CEO. "Online TV business models thatreally work are increasingly looking like contract publishing, and we are verywell placed to drive that market. This is the first of a number of channels weare rolling out this year." VETS.TV VETS.TV is available on demand, 24 hours a day and includes specially producedfilms on MRSA, litigation and stress management, best practice, a series ofinterviews with key veterinary figures and a number of acquired programmes ofinterest to vets and animal health practitioners.
