Statement re Suspension

GEM BioFuels announces that it will not be in a position to release financial results for the six months to 30 June 2012 ("Interim Results") by 30 September 2012 in accordance with AIM Rule 18 due to the delay in completing the full year results for the year to 31 December 2011 ("Full Year Results"). As a result, the Company's ordinary shares will remain suspended from trading on AIM until the publication of the Full Year Results and the Interim Results. Further updates will be provided in due course.
