Northern Electric PLC27 June 2005 Northern Electric plc announces that it wishes to take advantage of therelaxation of the 90 day reporting requirement to 120 days in respect of itsinterim statement for the six months to 30 June 2005, due to the additional workinvolved in producing that statement in accordance with the InternationalFinancial Reporting Standards, and may, therefore, publish its interim statementlater than the 90 days specified in the Listing Rules.
