Mountview Estates PLC02 March 2006 Mountview Estates PLC ("Mountview" or "the Company") On 25 January 2005, it was announced that Mrs E. Langrish-Smith (the wife of MrK. Langrish-Smith (a director of the Company), Mrs S.M. Simkins and Mrs A.Williams (all substantial ordinary shareholders of Mountview) had each received6750 ordinary shares of the Company by way of a dividend from Viewthorpe Limited("Viewthorpe"), also a Mountview shareholder. For technical reasons, this dividend has had to be reversed. Consequently, on 28February 2006, Mrs Langrish-Smith, Mrs Simkins and Mrs Williams each returned6750 Mountview ordinary shares to Viewthorpe. As a result, their Mountviewshareholdings are now as follows: K Langrish-Smith and Mrs E Langrish Smith Previous 227,250 (5.83%)New 220,500 (5.65%) Mrs S M SimkinsPrevious 178,304 (4.57%)New 171,554 (4.40%) Mrs A WilliamsPrevious 128,575 (3.30%)New 121,825 (3.12%) As a result of the above, Viewthorpe now has a holding of 132,950 ordinaryshares, representing 3.40% of the issued share capital.
