Operational Update

Further to the announcement on 1 February 2013 Marathon has informed Empyrean that the drilling schedule at the Sugarloaf Project during 2013 is to be reduced from approximately 65 wells previously planned to 28 wells. Empyrean understands that the drill program remains under discussion and may be subject to further change.
