Close Brothers Dev VCT PLC11 April 2007 CLOSE BROTHERS DEVELOPMENT VCT PLC Close Brothers Development VCT PLC announces a pro- forma (unaudited) net assetvalue as at 28 February 2007 based upon the conversion of the C shares toOrdinary shares which was completed on 31 March 2007 and on the announcement on4 April 2007 by Mears Group Plc that the recommended offer for Careforce GroupPlc has now become unconditional. This pro-forma net asset value is before thedividend payable to shareholders on 9 May 2007 of 1.5p per Ordinary sharesannounced on 27 March 2007.
