Newcourt Group plc16 December 2005 NEWCOURT GROUP PLC ("Newcourt" or "the Company") Holdings in Company Newcourt received notification on 16 December 2005 that Gartmore InvestmentLimited (GIL), Gartmore Fund Managers Limited (GFM) and Gartmore Global Partners(GGP), have increased their reportable interest in Newcourt by virtue of theacquisition of 958,206 ordinary shares at €0.87 on 9 December 2005. Following the purchase Gartmore held 4,893,206 ordinary shares which represents7.164% of the issued ordinary share capital of Newcourt.
