Result of Placing - Dealings by Significant Shareholders
Volga Gas, the independent oil and gas exploration and production company operating in the Volga region of European Russia, announces that the following significant shareholders, having participated in the Company's recent US$27 million (£16.6 million) (gross) placing of 27,000,000 new Ordinary Shares, have been allotted (directly or indirectly) new Ordinary Shares on 7 July 2009 at a price of US$1.00 (or 61.4 pence) per share as set out below and their resulting interests in the Enlarged Share Capital are also as set out below:
