Mothercare PLC07 February 2007 To the London Stock Exchange 7th February 2007 Via RNS Re: Holding in Company - correction Disclosure and Transparency Rules Mothercare plc wishes to make a correction to today's previous announcement released at 13.04 under RNS no 8772Q of a notifiable interest of M&G Investment Management Ltd, Prudential plc and certain of its subsidiary companies having reduced their holding and crossed down through the 11% threshold. The previous announcement stated their notifiable interest comprised 8,335,236ordinary shares. This should be 8,060,236 ordinary Mothercare plc 50p sharesrepresenting 10.99% of the voting rights.
