Share Option Awards
On 19 July 2018, AO World plc ("the Company") granted an exceptional award over a total of c.663,423 ordinary shares*, (representing approximately 0.14% of the Company's issued share capital) to a new senior employee under its Employee Reward Plan (which was approved by shareholders in July 2016).
The Award is subject to performance conditions, being Adjusted EBITDA growth and Sales growth in our Europe segment, which will be measured over a 3 year period ending on 31 March 2021. The Award is expected to vest in July 2021.
The Award is distinct from the annual incentive awards granted to Executive Directors and the senior management population which have been granted under the new AO Incentive Plan (which received approval at the Company's AGM on 19 July), further details of which are set out in our annual report.
* The amounts shown above represent the maximum possible number of ordinary shares that may be granted under this award.
