Advanced Power Components PLC14 April 2008 Advanced Power Components plc ("APC" or the "Company") Exercise of Options The Company announces today the issue of 50,000 new ordinary shares of 2p eachpursuant to the exercise of employee share options, at an exercise price of 9pper share. The shares issued rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares in issue. Application has been made for the new shares to be admitted to trading on AIM and this is expected to take place on 18 April 2008. Immediately following the issue of these shares, the Company will have 20,286,757 ordinary shares in issue.
