Roc Oil Company Limited08 May 2007 8 May 2007 ROC OIL COMPANY LIMITED ("ROC") STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE Drilling Activity Update: Offshore Perth Basin Exploration Drilling - Perseverance-1 Roc Oil (WA) Pty Limited advises that, as of 0600 hrs on 8 May 2007 AustralianWestern Standard Time ("AWST"), the Premium "Wilcraft" rig which has drilled theFrankland -1 exploration well in WA-286-P was still waiting to move off locationdue to adverse weather conditions outside normal rig operating limits. The forward programme for the "Wilcraft" rig is to move to the Perseverance-1exploration well location in WA-325-P, approximately 80 km north of Frankland-1,as soon as weather permits. The next Drilling Activity Update will be providedafter the rig has been demobilised from the Frankland-1 location.
