Roc Oil Company Limited06 October 2005 6 October 2005 ROC OIL COMPANY LIMITED ("ROC") STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE DRILLING PROGRAMME UPDATE OCTOBER 2005- MARCH 2006 Further to the 27 September 2005 Open Briefing, ROC advises that the majority ofits Drilling Programme for the period October 2005 - March 2006 remainsunchanged including the 7-8 Cliff Head Development wells plus platforminstallation. The attached updated Drilling Programme* includes the following modifications: • Up to 12 exploration/appraisal wells are now scheduled to be drilled during the period. • Two of the 12 exploration/appraisal wells (Equatorial Guinea and New Zealand) may be subject to further delays due to rig availability. • Two development wells for the Blane Oil Field are now scheduled to commence January 2006.
