Roc Oil Company Limited05 April 2007 ROC OIL COMPANY LIMITED ("ROC") STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE DRILLING ACTIVITY UPDATE: OFFSHORE PERTH BASIN EXPLORATION DRILLING PROGRAMME COMMENCES Roc Oil (WA) Pty Limited, advises that as of 1200hrs on 5 April 2007 (AustralianWestern Standard Time) the "Premium Wilcraft" jack up drilling rig was onlocation at the Frankland-1 well location in WA-286-P and preparations areunderway to commence drilling. The Frankland-1 well is the first of a planned three well exploration drillingprogramme which will also include the Dunsborough-1 well in WA-286-P and thePerseverance-1 well in WA-325-P.
