DIRECTOR SHAREHOLDING

Monitise plc ("the Company") was informed today that Duncan McIntyre, Chairman of the Company, purchased 500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company at a price of 12 pence per share. 

He now has a beneficial interest in 20,446,450 ordinary shares, representing 8.03% of the Company's issued share capital.
