Verona Pharma plc (the "Company") Director Shareholding 5 February 2007
The Company received notification on 2 February 2007 that Stuart Bottomley, a director of the Company acquired on that day, 200,000 ordinary shares of 0.1p each in the Company at a price of 3.25p per share. Mr. Bottomley's shares are registered in the name of The Bank of New York (Nominees) Limited. The acquisition has increased Mr. Bottomley's shareholding to 6,200,000 ordinary shares, representing 4.3% of the Company's issued share capital.
