Notification of Transactions by Directors/Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility and their Connected Persons

The Company announces that on Tuesday 21st October 2008 it received notification from  Douglas Sutherland, a non-executive director of the Company, that on 20th October 2008 his wife purchased 50,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company at a price of £46.51 per share. 

As at 21st October 2008 Mr Sutherland holds an interest in an aggregate amount of 150,000 ordinary shares in the capital of the Company.
