Director PDMR Shareholding

Volex plc (the "Company") announces that on 17 October 2013, Richard Arkle, Non- Executive Director, was allotted 3,046 Ordinary Shares of 25 pence each ("Ordinary Shares") in the Company at a price of 115.95 pence each as part of the Company's Scrip Dividend scheme, in place of a cash dividend of €0.03 per Ordinary Share.

This allotment represents 0.00005% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company. With this purchase, Mr. Arkle holds a total of 187,046 ordinary shares of Volex plc, representing in aggregate 0.29% of the ordinary issued share capital of the Company.

This announcement is made in accordance with the requirements of the FSA Disclosure and Transparency Rules 3.1.2 to 3.1.4.
