WYG announces that Yorkshire Building Society Trustee acquired on 20 October 2008, 19,365 ordinary shares in the company for the purpose of the WYG Share Incentive Plan at a price of 170p per share. These shares will be used to satisfy employees' contributions to the Plan deducted from their September pay. The following directors, as contributors to the plan, have acquired the following interest in the shares:
