Diploma PLC, the international group of specialised distribution businesses, has been notified today that the following Directors of the Company acquired further ordinary shares in the Company, in transactions completed on Friday, 4 July 2008:

John Rennocks (Chairman) - acquired 18,300 shares at 149.9 - 151.9 pence per share

Bruce Thompson (Director) - acquired 5,000 shares at 151.0 pence per share
