Electrocomponents announces that Simon Boddie (Group Finance Director) has today exercised all the options granted to him in July 2007, in accordance with the rules of the Scheme as set out below:

Mr Boddie has retained all of these shares.

Following this transaction, Simon Boddie has an interest in a total of 113,059 Shares representing less than 0.1% of the issued share capital of the Company.
